The End Of Generation 4 My Little Pony · 7:06pm Mar 16th, 2019
So....I’ve had about a week to process that this is the final season of the fourth generation of My Little Pony and I have to admit that I am a little sad to see it go.

BLUF: Pictures of Arctic, Pitch, and Meadow in different pony creators.
So...we’ve got some Generation 5 news with 4 characters. Izzy Moonbow, Sunny Starscout, Hitch Trailblazer, and Pipp. If your excited about me getting back to doing fanfics because of these new characters, sorry to disappoint but it’s too early for that. If I’m gonna consider of writing these characters, I have to wait until the movie comes out so I can understand the character development from all characters.
So, I keep getting writer's block, right? Everyone does. I was thinking that after I get my in progress stories done, I aught to type out stories as I go then start posting chapters about once a week to keep things fresh. One chapter a week for one random story. Sounds pretty good to me because I have a series of seven books I want to get out. I have good ideas and end goals for the first six, but the final one is stumping me. Don't worry, I've got a pretty good idea. .... Maybe.
Well, Generation 4 of MLP has officially ended and I am currently sitting here typing this up with tears in my eyes.
I came into G4 very late in the game, thinking that I would never watch such a goofy show as this. But....after watching the very first Equestria Girls movie, I started watching the past episodes and I found my love for the show.
Just watched the new My Little Pony movie, and it was so good. The only two things I'd point out is that the song numbers were hit or miss, and Zipp didn't get as much character development as the other main characters. But if any of you have also watched the movie, which characters do you ship? For me, It's very easy to ship Sunny and Izzy together!
Hangovers suck. Those who've experienced can attest to this, I'm sure of it. But the night before may or may not make that hangover worth it.
I got my first look yesterday at MLP: TM. There were certainly a lot of differences between it and the series, from the animation style to certain aspects of the story. I guess there's nothing wrong with that per se, but many aspects of the story left this old guy feeling uncomfortable, like I was being reminded that this film was made for a much younger audience. I guess it would be very hard to make a movie about an invasion for younger children, but I felt a bit cheated.
So, over the course of some collaborative writing I have been dong with a friend of mine, we ventured into the world of Equestria Girls. I adapted my character, Longhaul, to fit in this world, and in doing so, I wrote a series of short stories concerning his adventures at Canterlot High.
Just submitted the two parts of the first chapter of my second story to the one friend of mine who knows that I'm interested in this stuff to see if it makes sense. (damn, don't you just hate run on sentences) If he thinks that it looks o.k., I'll submit it for approval, maybe even before the end of the week. It would be easier if I had a fellow brony to check this for me, but as an older fan that really hasn't been an option. I'm going to be taking on some rather nasty subjects in the next few
“Griff? Griff, are you in here?”
Griff didn’t answer, still tossing dough like a pizza making zombie.
“...Griff? Griff!” Scarab stepped in front of his adopted son, pounding a hoof on the counter to get his attention.
“Ahh!” He yelped in surprise, the dough flying onto the ceiling with a wet slapping sound. Griff looked up, glaring at the wasted dough. “...Damn it. It took me half an hour to get it thin enough. Thin crusted pizza ain’t an easy job, Y’know.”
Has anypony noticed that naming conventions for future Equestria involve much simpler names?
G4 names are usually either 3 or 4 syllables.
Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, and Twilight Sparkle
G5 names are usually 1 or 2.
Pipp, Zipp, Hitch, Sunny, and Izzy
Yes, Sunny is "Sunny Starscout," and Izzy is "Izzy Moonbow," but those are treated almost like last names. Nopony really calls them that.
Update 29/09: We now have one! Woo-hoo!
So I'm not sure if anyone'll actually find this a useful little piece, but I got into talking about world building and character creation last night. It's actually quite an interesting subject and thought I'd write up my process of how I go about creating characters and the worlds they interact with.
The Main story of the New World is out, while the beginning would be Postponed, It will be continued to be made when I finish the main story. Meanwhile, the Corvette will be resumed production when my break comes.
And as for A General Destiny, well it might be next month before Chapter 16 is released, but until then I will be making plans on releasing and making new and maybe refurbish chapters.
I... Bendy... don't see anything so far that counts as 'woke' or 'based' or whatever fucking retards talk about. No real-world fucking human bullshit unless you look with nerd microscope goggles. All I want to know if G5 Ponies have thicc fucking asses for the most part, then I'm fucking happy.
I will watch it for the plot. The big motherfucking thick plot.
Note: I had a few beers after making this blog post.
Greetings and salutations, my name is Wrex and this my review. Get ready for a special review. It's 'Sonic enters a New Generation', a MLP Gen 5/Sonic the Hedgehog crossover. I got to be honest, I was a little nervous about doing my first Gen 5 review. Anyway, everyone's favorite high speed Hedgehog ends up in the Generation 5 Equestria during the events of the movie. It was pretty impressive the references used in the story, especially the Sonic Unleashed one. Aside from what the movie taught,
Today MLP Generation 5 has been made available on Netflix, and on Saturday I’ll be seeing it with my friends in the Milwaukee Bronies. I’ve had an uneasy feeling about it, and finally putting much of that into words was helpful. It was certainly interesting, and I’d like to share it with other people. I’ve done so with only a few, but I want to put this out there before anyone thinks my opinion is contaminated by either seeing the movie, or something getting spoiled. Tomorrow I may be relieved,
GaPJaxie is running a writing contest on the writeoff.me website. This is a contest with actual prizes (like, first prize is $200!), and three judges - GaPJaxie, Cold in Gardez, and myself, as the obligatory mean British judge.
Even though I'm American.
Whatever.
