Yeah, sadly the dreaded Writers Block has infected Going Deep Under as well. Dunno why, but it has. I do have a slight idea in how the next chapter should go, but I just don't know how to get it written down.
I don't know how long this block will last, sorry.
After all this time, I’m going to try and get the Mysterious Mare Do Well up and running again. It’s been years I know and I don’t blame anyone for abandoning the fic as dead. Heck, I even labeled it canceled a while ago but I’m gonna try again.

In case the news from Twitter hasn't reached all you guys still listening, I've run into a bit of a stumbling block since my last blog entry, and it's going to put Pirene on a delay for up to a week or so now that I've brought my computer into the shop to get looked at.
So, I decided to change the style a bit. Instead of having them be full pony with pokemon like features, and an extra set of ears in the mane, I decided to make them ponyesque, with pokemon ears, pokemon hair and tail, extra fur sections, and, if the pokemon has them, claws. Etc. I am also going to make them look less filly like. So, here is Flareon.
Welp, I've been wrong before! There now exists clop of Sucker For a Cute Face, not written by me, but with full permission. It's more than just Character X and Character Y going at it, too, but a pretty accurate depiction of how the couple's first time might go, their dynamic well intact.

When I say 'their own instrumental version', I don't mean using the EXACT same instruments. I mean like playing your own version of this song with whatever instruments you have, or can play. I have an idea for an MLP version of this song, you see. Something for Rainbow Dash. Read the lyrics I've got in mind and imagine them in place of this song and tell me if you think it would work.

I've realized something, though, as I've been gathering this up: I'm doing this for me. I'm laying something to rest. I'm letting go of a lingering sense of what might-have-been, which in its own way is a part of the story of what ended-up-being.
Maybe it's even the last part of the story.
As I mentioned last time: there's a mountain of cut content from To Serve In Hell, including some nuggets that I very much regretted having to take out. I've already shared a couple of those stronger moments with you, and discussed the thought process that lead to both adding and ultimately removing them.
Hi'a guys!! I've been working on the rewrite of Purple Tears and I'm happy to say I've gotten to chapter 6!! I haven't written anything in 6 yet, but still! I'm there! So I decided I might start posting chapters, but maybe once a month or something. That would give me plenty of time to go at my own pace. I'll probably release it around a time when I can also work on it, so around December? I know it's a long time, but school's been hard and life kind of... Doesn't like me right now. At all.
Okay, let's get this out of the way, if you haven't seen the episode, you're gonna have a hard time keeping up, so go watch it.

So Mysterious Mare Do Well is probably one of the most maligned episodes in the entire MLP series. However does it really deserve that? I'm gonna take a stab at looking at what might be good about it through what's supposed to be bad about it.

And no, I'm not shitting you with that. To be honest, I wish I was. This is actually a thing that's going on right now in the comics, specifically Captain America: Steve Rogers #1. And boy are people beyond pissed off. And ya know what? So am I.
Quick update: I'm about halfway through chapter 18 at the moment.
Now for the Real News: I figured it's about time to overcome my childhood trauma from playing Hot Cross Buns and get out my mum's old recorder. :P This is my first serious foray into songwriting, so I hope you like it, but don't lie if it's terrible. My hard drive, the one with all my saved copies of my chapters (including the Christmas Beacon) , has been suffering from mounting errors since early Monday morning. I am trying to resolve te issue and get my stuff back, so please bear with me.
At the latest, the Christmas Beacon will be up by the end of this upcoming week (on the chance I have to rewrite it all D: ) and so will the new Obamaverse/Curse crossover chapter.
The inflections, tones, and cadence are a bit weird, but maybe I'll get better at this someday. I'm assuming that I can actually change this stuff when messing around with 15.ai so I just need to learn it better.
This is from chapter 59, closer to the end. I'm not 100% happy with it, but I am happy that I could do it. And I'm thinking of edits to make to the story itself. I should probably put that energy towards the sequel.
