The reason being that after years of trying to think of some great lyrics and music for them (and reading a lot both yesterday and somewhat today), I've finally realized that most of the concepts and ideas that I've made over the years were bad and not as well-thought-out as I thought. Reading about how to write songs. I'm not unfamiliar with poetry, but songwriting has its own rules that I find interesting. I wrote a "strophic" song from the viewpoint of Rainbow Dash conveying her feelings to Fluttershy. Not posting it because just, gah, no but I had fun nonetheless. Might use it in my FlutterDash fic. Might need some tweaking before I go ahead and do that, though.

I'm trying to write a great, catchy, and interesting song for my fan-character named Odium. The title is called "Put Them In Their Place" and I'm trying to write well-written lyrics and think of a genre(s) that fit his personality, history, abilities, etc.
