Hello everyone! Due to work being busy this last week as well as some pre-holiday preparation, I wasn't able to get as much writing done as hoped this week. Hello there, another week two episodes this time. It came to my attention a few months ago, but I wanted to point it out here before the second half of Season 6 started
Because when it does, Twilight will have been an Alicorn for longer than she's been a Unicorn, in terms of episodes. (In terms of time passed, she already has, and if you count the movies as episodes, she already has)

She hated that the Ether couldn't let anyone in without her taking them in. Just once, she wanted someone to care, but her friends couldn't come to her, and she often didn't feel like going to them when she was upset.

I've been contemplating on making this blog post for a while now. I've been thinking of almost leaving this site entirely. I no longer find editing and writing enjoyable. The flame and interest I once had in those two subjects has been diminished. And almost every one of my internet friends I've made on this site have either left, become dormant, or are just inactive. READER'S BLOCK!

i've mentioned it before, but the gap between now and Nightmare Night is killing me, its all original story that i haven't been carefully planning for years now (save for one scene) and i can't help but feel insecure about it.

i still have a couple of crucial scenes to write on the latest chapter of Family Tree, and it's already at over 8,000 words. i know that's not all that long in retrospect, but the average FT chapter is usually around 5k so it feels very wordy to me.

Like, I know the show changed directions and overall tone in those seasons. But honestly people, it's been literally years. At worst, it already happened. Also, and this is personal opinion though, any major tonal or directional changes from season 7 to 8 isn't that different from the ones from season 3 to 4, or even back at the departure of Lauren Faust from 1 to 2.
