She cares for everypony, on a surprisingly personal level. But, there's still this... disconnect. She cares for ponies, but she can't readily relate to them or understand them. In the past, many simple attributed this to her role as Princess, declaring her to be above the common pony. In truth, she has always been like this.

Listening to Ep20 of Scribbler’s Them’s Writing Words and they talk about Big Mac ships… and then about Daybreaker x Big Mac, and a fic about them (nothing further than that).

I checked with a search — my fic(s)’s still the only one for that ship. That’s a win, it seems.

See, I'm not actually okay, at all. I'll be okay when I'm not lying awake at night struggling to breathe as invisible hands grab at me and a hundred voices scream in my ear. Calling me names. Mocking me. Singing songs at top volume.

Hey folks! As you can tell, there was no new "Passing Familiarity" chapter today, despite my best intentions. "28 Pranks Later" was a particularly worrisome synopsis. It promised to repeat the worst crimes of "The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well" and continue to have Rainbow Dash re-learn already-known lessons.
