I'm still alive! Still alive...still alive...
Whoa, hey, put those pitchforks and torches away! I know I haven't been active in quite a while and I really don't have any excuses for it, except maybe (insert generic life-bitching statement here). Anyway, rest assured that I'm working on Starring Trixie and Lucky Strike, along with a couple other little thingy-wingies.
ANYWAY...
Chapter 7 has been released just this evening, and I am pleased to report that Rain Fire and myself already have a whole three quarters of chapter 8 already penned out!
Well folks... I apologize for taking so long to get the next TLaTU chapter out, but it's for a good reason.
I've got myself a new job! 
After deciding it was time to move on from my current job over the July 4 holiday, I posted my resume and got a lot of interest on it. So I interviewed at a new place three weeks ago, got a verbal offer from them two weeks ago and finally passed the background checks this week, getting my formal offer and official start date with it.
So, having a good day so far, everyone?
This is a little message, stating that story updates will be slowing down, as I have exams in a few weeks time, and in about a month, I may stop updating entirely for a 2-3 week period.
Stupid exams.

Now that Ashes is out of the way, I'm set to tackle three projects. Two of these are of the "crowd-pleaser" variety, which most of my followers will likely enjoy, as will most arbitrarily-selected bronies.

I'm writing a Spike story.
It's roughly 20% done right now, and I intend to finish it by Monday or sooner.
It actually looks at Spike as a main character, looks at some of his feelings of inferiority, loneliness, depression, lust, and desperation. And everyone will come to appreciate him by the end. It will be rated M.
I'm working on the next chapter for The Immortality Diaries.

Another new story; call me scatterbrained if you will. Trying something new, and I'd love to hear your opinion on it. As of now, I'm waiting for approval, so it should be out soon.

Welcome, followers-who-probably-thought-I-died-and/or-quit-writing and anyone else who happens to read this! After an incredibly-long period of not doing anything related to FiMfiction, I have returned with news which may be met with mixed reactions.
As the title says, the new chapter and the conclusion of the "Broken" story arc will be up this afternoon (if you're in the US). Two warnings about it:
My precious AU has a fangroup now! As awesome as that is I can't say too much right now because I've got a chapter to type. But thank you so much for this stuff that fuels my ego/flatters me. You should go join if you already haven't. Don't forget about my first group either, both links are on my front page box thing.

Granted, the first chapter is mostly a prologue type deal, but I'll be doing my darnedest to get out a chapter every week or two till this one is done. First update should be by next weekend given what I already have done...

So I want to apologize for some of the issues with my newest fiction, Dear Friends. It was never my intention to "feel" as though it was incomplete; my goal was to make a somber story reflecting the mistakes of a well-known Princess. Thus, to express my condolences, I will be marking my fiction as "incomplete" until finished.
I hate California...
Those who plan on living in good 'ol Cali, don't go through with it. It's not what it's cracked up to be, and those who are living in Cali along with me, find a way to move away. Believe me, I'm considering moving back to Nevada. And even that place is bad, but at least it gets more breaks from the heat than Cali does!
No, not this situation. I just thought I'd let you all know what's happening with IAIMAY. As some of you may recall, I said that Act 3 would resume around mid september. However, I've been incredibly busy with work over the past couple of months and haven't had as much time to write as I'd like.
