Calling Loving Submission a mistake may have been a tad bit premature on my part...
(this is NOT an april fool's joke!)
Hey everyone! Thanks to some recent inspiration, I finally finished part 2 of the Nightmare Night chapter! (Chapter 7). I'm just waiting for it to be edited, now, and then I'll post it! I'm going to work at a camp this summer so I'll have to put it on hiatus again soon, but hopefully, I'll be able to write a lot more chapters when I start college this fall!
I'll be honest. This question... it's fucking with me. I can't even just rest every time I think about Equestrian Earth. It's my fault for letting so much time pass by, but now it's come to the point where this decision must be questioned and answered. For too long I haven't worked on the story and already new canon information is coming from the show. Because of reasons, this story has a tie-in with another story that is part of an MLP-verse that takes place a handful of years ahead of the
As I approach the weekend, it's time to give a quick update on things. By this time next week, I'll be on the road headed back to Texas. I'm moving for the fourth time in four years (a fact that aggravates me more than almost anything else), which of course means I will not be available until I find a place to stay. To that end, I'm saving most of my current projects - FMP, Switcharootaloo, and Locals - to my Drive folders so I can at least study them while in the passenger seat.
Because it wouldn't be the holidays if it wasn't last minute, right?
So anyway...about the chapter for "Grief" that was planned to go up tonight...it's, uh...it's not finished.
It's so close to being finished that it's not funny, and by all accounts, I easily should've been able to get it finished this week, helped by the fact that I've been feeling pretty good about this next chapter.
But it's not.
IT'S EVO, BITCHES, I'VE BEEN BUSY WATCHING.
With that out of the way, I'm still watching the stream as I type this, so it's become a slow writing time for me, but I do plan to release a story this week! So I'm still on schedule!
Speaking of distractions, procrastination is a thing with me. I always try to do things, but I usually end up distracted. How does someone avoid such things? Well, it's all up to the person dealing with it.
Eh, maybe. But anyway guys I just thought I'd let you know that my stories aren't going to be updated.
Or Easter, for ya'll who don't like my name for it. Regardless, I hope you have had a good weekend. And now I have a present for you all:
THE NEXT CHAPTER OF THE TROTTING DEAD IS FINISHED AND HAS BEEN SENT TO KJAY!
And it's only just over two years late!
Well, it has been done for a while now, but this has been my longest chapter in "Elements" to date. I was honestly trying to cut it back twice now (once in the previous chapter "The Flameout"), but I found I needed to cover alot within the two chapters anyway... so, yeah.
In any case, next chapter will be up next week, and the final chapter of Part 5 will be done and up by the week after.
Hi y'all. I hope that where all of you are, everyone is doing okay. Or, at least as okay as we can all be with all the awful stuff that's been intensifying. This is the blog I wanted to share regarding the summer writing plans for all my stories. I'll be sure to touch on the status of each one and offer some details about its completion. I would also like to take a moment to show off something other neat things I've found and mention very briefly how all the rioting will impact my presence on
So, the blog entry about my Patreon plans wasn't read by many so far. I blame the length of it. Which was unavoidable, because there was just a whole lot to tell (and everyone who knows me knows that I don't like keeping things short). But of course, that barely anyone reads it is neither feasible nor acceptible for the plans I have made. So, here is a little TL;DR:
My stories need ideas that are more out of the box. Something unexpected, yet still fitting to the story I write. Something readers won't reckon with when they look at the story from the outside or read the first few chapters. Something like this hasn't been in my stories so far. Even my biggest hit "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!" has, while offering a few
Hey guys. Some of you might be aware that I'm fairly buddy-buddy with Regidar, that one kid who's got one of the most extensive and varied submissions on FIMfiction. From some of the best dramas ever written here to some of the most biting and cynical trollfics, Regidar is one of those guys that doesn't need specific conditions to post a story, whereas guys like me only post once every blue moon.
It's time to do this. It has been a long time coming. And I would have done it much earlier already if my writing skill hadn't suffered so much since Spring 2017 that it needed almost two years of recovery to get to a point where I can trust the quality of my writing again.
But now the time has come. I will do what countless pony authors have done before me and open a Patreon account to get financial support for my writing.
I am not satisfied with the views of "Dreamwalker Dash". It did get a lot of favourites already (least, for my current level of popularity), 39 in total, and the overall reception is something I can compare with the success "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!" was. Minus the comments, there is far less discussion about it. But my fic for Flurry Heart started with a
Progress has been made, a large amount of it. Chapter 2 of "Dreamwalker Dash" is now fully revised. Took me about 8 hours to do it, but it was very much worth it. I could fix so many errors and sentences that were less than optimal.
I need to make this short, because I am already very tired today due to remaining exhaustion after the long writing sessions to finish "Pinkie Pie's Hearth's Warming Vacation" in time for its release, but I want you to know about this.
.
Do I sound frustrated in this blog entry title? If that's how it comes across, then that's probably because I am. There have been nasty things that slowed this story down, mostly heavy depressions. Thankfully, the story is not dead and I am in a better mental shape to work on it again and finally finish this darn revision of the current chapters.
