Welcome back, writers! It’s the first Being a Better Writer article post LTUE! So, in fact, maybe that should also be “Welcome, new writers,” because there may be a number of you checking out Unusual Things for the first time post-convention.
I just spent the last hour trying to tune out distractions and managed to put out 1,697 words of prose.
It felt really good.
I haven't been focusing lately. Just sort of been letting myself be distracted, not really focusing on anything I didn't have to do.
It feels good to actually get some stuff done.
I'm all the way up to the last scene of this story. It is probably going to end up being about 10,000 words long.
It's been a while since I just randomly powered out a story.
Well, it has been a while, but the chapter is just about set and ready to go. It's just one chapter to round out the Romance Arc, but it's a sizable one. I hope you all enjoy it.

Their daughter channel already managed to revive the anime afternoon and has a weekly anime night with a pretty cool selection. Welcome back readers! Yes, I decided to bump Monday’s usual Being a Better Writer post to Tuesday on account of Monday being the federal holiday in a number of places, including where I was. That, and it was a bit nice to have a break day.
