One thousand six hundred and ninety-seven

I just spent the last hour trying to tune out distractions and managed to put out 1,697 words of prose.

It felt really good.

I haven't been focusing lately. Just sort of been letting myself be distracted, not really focusing on anything I didn't have to do.

It feels good to actually get some stuff done.

I'm all the way up to the last scene of this story. It is probably going to end up being about 10,000 words long.

It's been a while since I just randomly powered out a story.

In other news, I'm still working on reviewing stories for the FlutterDash contest. I've seen a couple of interesting ideas, and read a few interesting stories. I've been procrastinating on getting some of the longer ones read, but after I get this story finished tomorrow, I'm going to start digging into the longer entries.

Sorry I've been so quiet lately. I saw a post from bookplayer the other day about her feed being surprisingly dead, while I have been hiding away due to my avoidance of spoilers for some stuff I still haven't seen. Going to have to catch up on that stuff this next week; I've just been filling so much time with nothingness.

So how have you folks been?

Overcoming a similar state of distraction, though some of that did come from promising results from an ongoing job hunt. Still, I should have some concrete horsewords coming out today. I look forward to whatever you have in the pipeline.
