A friend of mine had who has diabetes had a big toe removed a few months ago, and it became infected over the weekend. He admitted himself to the ER for treatment, but unfortunately, he ended up having to get more of his foot removed do to the infection being too severe.

I've been keeping him company while he recovers, and doing things like feeding his dog and picking up his medicine since he obviously can't get around very easily right now.

Hope I didn't miss too much while I was gone!

Results of my stomach testing-Severe Gastroparesis. Likely to be life long.-Treatment small meals very few fruits and vegetables. Purees are best... Just what I wanted to do at 32 go back to eating baby food *sigh* So... How are all of you?

Well, thirteen years sure seems like a long time ago now. I finally graduated high school only two days ago now, on September seventeenth 2015.

Back from the field. I did have a good time in many respects, but I am also keenly aware that I just cannot function the way other people can in prolonged social situations. It starts off okay, but then I just want to escape after a while. I honestly have no idea if it has to do with my bipolar or is just some other mental processing thing, but after about a day I just want everyone to get out of my face, no matter how nice they are.

Today marks the 5th month that my mom passed away due to complications of COVID-19 along with infections in her blood, heart, lungs and kidneys.

I so badly miss her, I really wish I had gotten to learn how to do some of her cooking recipes and relearn of how to do sewing.

I'm afraid there's not much for me to say, other than tragedy has struck one of our fellow members. If you wish to know more, here's the link.

Water heater died a month ago, that's a 500$ fix. Winter breeze rolled by recently, been awfully cold just washing my hands, not to mention showering as usual. But I'm strong, I weathered it.
