Vote and Be Good to Each Other (Not a Story Update) · 7:41pm Oct 27th, 2020
Politics horse, what are you doing here? A PSA? Ew. Okay.
If you didn't know, I'm Canadian, so this upcoming US election isn't mine to participate in. That said, I've got a lot of people I care about directly and/or indirectly impacted by the results and I'm sure many of you do, too. People's lives depend on it.
For any (18+) American followers in need of resources: VoteSaveAmerica can help you register to vote, understand what's at stake on your ballot, and make a plan for how you're going to vote. If you'd still like to vote early, USAGov can tell you how to request an absentee mail-in ballot (and if it's allowed in your state).
And finally, this election could be really uncertain, and that's almost guaranteed to be a stressful, difficult time. Once the polls close, even those with a voice in the election are only going to be able to wait and see. The best thing we can do is support each other through it. Some people are going to need distractions and to disengage until it's over, some are going to be watching every news development minute by minute, but regardless of how you cope with it, be there for each other. Reach out.
I swear there used to be a TV show that said something about the power of friendship...
Stay empathetic,
Marvel

(P.P.S. Story-related updates/posts are coming, but I wanted to wait until I had bigger news to share on it!)
I'm not American either, but damn your presidential debates are hella funny.
