Hey fimfiction.
You all have been my readers, you've followed my stories, you've been with me on my journeys, and you've helped me through a lot of rough spots. Most of the time, I use my blogs as an attempt to vent my problems, or get help for others who need it, but this time... I'm asking for help for me. And that's... A first, really.
Confession time: I haven't exactly been doing well lately, at all. Around here, I'm probably already known as the person who can't stop talking about politics all the time, and for a reason I guess. (Hello to all the people I've argued with here, I bet you're feeling pretty good right now)

This will be a series of story announcements. All of the following are in various states of completion or planning.
1:Do you try to stay away from walkthroughs?
Depends on the game honestly, if it's something important to me yeah, if its mildly important then I'll watch or read a few things.
2:Company you're always loyal to?
Game Freak, I mean personally the only pokemon game from them I outright disliked was Black and White
3:Best game you've ever played?
Mofuggin' Kingdom Hearts 2 (Expect that to be the answer to a lot)
4:Worst game you've ever played?
I recently won a competition against authors much better than I am. I'm still not sure how. (First place out of 57 short stories in last month's The Writeoff Association contest, specifically.) 
I am continuing to modify the story for publication which I am fairly certain will make it much better for everypony except Titanium Dragon.
So, uh, yeah. I survived the entirety of 2017. Go me!

I swear, I have six different unfinished story blurbs in which Discord plays a major role and now I'm going to spend the entire writing process terrified that the moment I publish them someone's going to shout "RAR RAR DISCORD IS THE DEVIL, DOWNVOTE DOWNVOTE DOWNVOTE."
Am I being silly and/or paranoid? Maybe, I don't know.

Phew! Four Months without your own laptop is tough!
My laptop screen had broken randomly one day. Long story short, a loose hinge that was threatening to break the casing on the laptop actually damaged the cord connecting my screen to the motherboard. I handed the laptop to my friend's dad, who is a professional at fixing computers/internet stuffs.

the dark surrounds me. dark eyes, they're watching. Waiting. tremors run up and down my spine, gruesome images filling my dreams. unaware, my arm hangs off the bed. pitch black darkness closes in.
and holds my hand.

And seven years of me watching MLP semi-consistently. I am celebrating accordingly.
My Birthday is also in four days hehe.
While working on They Fight Crime, for reasons unbeknownst to mortals, I ended up coming up with full 'bios' (read: the blurbs printed on the back of the the action figure packaging, except slightly longer) for The Elements of Harmony, which, as you may remember, basically never appear in the story itself, just Pinkie showing up to do Pinkie things. Anyway someone said they'd like to see those bios so I thought I'd stuff them in a blog post here you go you're welcome I guess
1000 words in.
Hopefully I get some schedule where I can write 500-1000 (ideally 1000) words a day. It fits well in my schedule and with it only being 1000 word goal its attainable.
Cause I'm actually feeling this story.
Cause it has that right level of sort of heartfelt stuff and comedy and I like writing this. This is the tone I looked for.
Which is good people seem to like it.
Holidays and really random life has made the "fourteen days between updates" be kind of untenable so I'm going to the whenever its out and I feel at least like I touched on everything I wanted to model. This might make some updates rarer but this is kind of an arc end chapter for example. I feel getting the right balance of life and this takes precedence first and also this already had a lot of things running around in my head.
