Meh. Today was a day.
After a certain time of day or night (night in my case, the time in which I'm writing this), does anybody become extremely melancholic and thoughtful about their lives? Where you're headed, where you'll be in the next few odd years, if you'll be the same person or not, whether or not you'll still be single or in a relationship and how you'll handle it?
I was just thinking to myself about something that I've likely said a number of times before, about writing.
So I have at least six OCs to my name. As of yesterday, actually. Here's a quick-ish summary.
'Cause 1: I was supposed to have fall break this week, but it got cancelled 'cause Covid.
And 2: I really don't have very many resources to start a new hardware project, so I'd might as well do something else.
Also, I haven't had the time to even try setting up a GoFundMe for my dog yet. :P
But anyway, here's some thoughts on some of the stuff I'd like to try doing:
It seems it would be a bit remiss of me to start these blog entries without a little visit to the one that's practically the codifier of AU's in general:
The Mirror-verse
They found what almost killed Marc, giant external hemorrhoids they burst then resealed that almost killed him. Found out from his brother this actually runs in his family *shaking my head* At least we should get to go home tomorrow so yay!
So, rather than any of the fics I meant to work on because i promised updates, I'm playing with a random Discord story that continues an old one-shot of mine.
And I'm tending towards an omniscient narration, and trying to settle what, exactly, that narrative voice should be, and something makes me think, "I can kind of picture this coming from Professor Quadwrangle from Quantum Conundrum."
And then I remember that Quadwrangle was John de Lancie.
Was the best Pearl episode of the series, and I will fight anyone who disagrees (Unless we count Mr. Greg as a Pearl episode, that wins for the opposite reason). It was so fun! There was no big threat, no groundbreaking lore developments, no bitterness about her lost love. Just Pearl being gay and trying to look cool. Seeing Pearl try and then fail to approach Mystery Girl (Her name starts with S, but beyond that, it's unclear) was funny, and then seeing her actually work up the guts to go talk
I had the day off from work yesterday, so the lazy bum in me totally forgot that I tend to post something every Friday. See what happens when I work off schedule?!
Ah well, have this and the new season premier today.

If you've bothered to stick around for the last year or so you've noticed I've been pretty inactive, with only the occasional crackfic or the occasional pretty one shot to show you guys that I'm still alive.
Well, I want that to stop.
I just realized today how much of me actually remains in my existence. I thought of all things I have done or did and it's either because someone told me to do it or because of the "it's right so you ought to follow it" order. This site, this fandom, and everything and everyone it entails. The accounts I have made on google, twitter, Facebook. My secret life on the internet was all but forms of escape from reality for me. But when the questions came, "What do you want to do? What do you do as

So, I'm going to assume that it was the harmonic magic inherent to heartsongs/spontaneous-and-not-quite-spontaneous musical outbreaks that took the creepy Orwellian subtext in "Our Town" and turned it into plain old text.
May or may not have recently posted a rewrite of EV’s stories on an alt account... With permission, of course.
I think my writing has reached an impasse. I am having difficulty with several aspects of the writing process. Planning is easy enough, I can write an entire outline in my head in seconds. Characters? I can create a dozen, and name all of the attributes, in the amount of time it would take me to write and complete this blog post. Worlds? I can envision a million of them.
Okay, first up, all the pictures in this post are going to be hidden behind the jump. There’s not even a featured image for this one, despite me having ten pictures of my wrist at the ready for the post. Why?
