It’s the Sunday after Thanksgiving in the States. And Black Friday, for that matter. So, let’s commemorate both with a tale of mistreated, overworked laborers and be grateful that most Equestrias aren’t like it.

This week marks the penultimate Rainbow Dash Presents card blog. Before getting into the grand finale with the mare of Lost Carcosa, let’s look at the various shorts peppering the playlist.
I could look at the next issues of Generations for this week, but I have something fun planned for New Year’s Day that requires me to skip over the comics for a cycle. As such, let’s see why everything is bigger and eight.
Happy Father’s Day! Today’s pony media is sadly unrelated. Well, hopefully unrelated. If Lost Carcosa reminds you of your father, that’s a matter for you and your therapist. In any case, let’s close out Rainbow Dash Presents.
Well, the AFR prerelease could have gone better, but I’m going to view it as a learning experience. And I got to turn Orcus into a paperweight and have Drizzt punch a dragon, so I can’t complain too much. In any case, it’s back to Pony Life to see what other madness unfolds now that Twilight’s established a permanent planar portal in Sugarcube Corner’s broom closet.
We return to another tale twisted by the teller. And this one was pretty twisted to begin with. Time for one of the iconic memes of early pony.
I took a look at the Canterlot Tell-All, but that’s just the Humane 7 commenting on the events of the first three movies. Some interesting tidbits like Sunset wanting to travel the world, but definitely not enough to justify a card blog. So we move on while staying in the human world.
Haha XD
Seriously though, here's the link: http://pyx-1.pretendyoure.xyz/zy/game.jsp#game=53
My upcoming card blog schedule is going to be a bit muddled in the coming weeks since I'm heading to Everfree Northwest just in time for enough G5 content to aggregate to the point of reviewability. (Yes, the "kinks" in the blog title refer to unexpected changes to my plans. You should be ashamed of yourself. ) As such, here's what to expect in the near future of FiCG:
I took a look at some of my older works, and found a CCG I came up with a while back. It was something infected my mind a few years ago, feel free to talk ask me more about this project. It’s aesthetic is a mix of steampunk and cyberpunk, with a few cards showing components of both. I came up with the idea back in high school, formalized it a bit during college. I came up with some designs I haven’t seen in any game’s art style, haven’t seen any in any established series either.
I’ve been in this fandom for a long time. About a third of my life at this point (which is its own breed of terror to herald the start of Spooky Season.) And in a few months, I’ll be celebrating ten years of Friendship is Card Games. According to tradition, that’s the tin or aluminum anniversary.
And now you have context for the contest’s subtitle.
Hello everyone and welcome back to the question of the week (hopefully nobody's getting sick and tired of that).
So in our last blog for this year, I wanted to discuss a tabletop gaming project that I've been working on.
I was thinking about this idea for a tabletop rpg where instead of rolling dice, players have their own deck of playing cards, with the cards having different effects based off of the characters class, subclass, etc...
Now I wanted to ask a couple things.
Hey all,
It’s been a bit, so I figured I’d make a quick post about progress on my current stories and direct some traffic to a friend of mine.
It's been just two weeks since I finished A Harmonic Sonata, and now this happens:
My first reaction: Is this for realzies?! Also, did they seriously just reference Fighting is Magic?!
My second reaction:
(On an unrelated note, this is the second blog in a row which has used that reaction.)
Just a heads up; FiCG: The Last Laugh will be delayed by a certain Baltimore get-together. I'll be working on it and retrospective blogs tomorrow, if not this evening.
I'm a huge fan of FanOfMostEverything. Not only does he write delightful stories and insightful blog posts on every episode and movie and many more things besides, but he also creates lots and lots of custom Magic: the Gathering cards, in his "Friendship Is Card Games" blog series.
Decided I will release Thursday 4/15 instead of Friday 4/16. Upvotes make me 🎶happy🎵! Think Autumn Blaze. In chapter 8, a royal guard pony will try to find who Princess Celestia sensed casting so strongly in her vicinity. The reason is not at all what Starlight expects.
Due to my being on the other side of the country, preoccupied with this whole convention mishegoss, the next Friendship is Card Games will be delayed until Tuesday. Tomorrow, I'm flying from the West Coast to the East, and that tends to eat your whole day due to time zone shenangians. Expect the EFNW overview blog around the same time.
(And don't worry, despite the blog title, no mysterious guys in trenchcoats are offering cosplay supplies.)
I'm so proud of them! They enjoyed the cake, milkshakes, poems and decorations made, as well as the picture/amulet necklaces and folders I bought! ❤️
My poems:
