So, remember when I said Amy Keating Rogers is not a perfect writer. Well, this is one of those times where her writing is not as strong as it could've been. Don't get me wrong. This is still a good episode. There are a lot of hilarious jokes, some of the commentary is actually clever, and the message, while pretty overdone, is still a timely one. The first in the Warcraft line, Warcraft: Orcs Vs Humans is just that. Orcs fighting humans. There is a campaign mode that gives you a story as to what's going on at the moment, but there's not much by way of history, which was later molded by Blizzard into the background known so well by many WOW players.
A lot has changed in two years.
In 2021, I was thinking of wrapping things up here. I hadn't published anything in years, my writing projects were going nowhere, and other hobbies were taking more of my time. At some point late in the year I decided I would read the best stuff on the site (by some reckoning), maybe publish one last thing, and then put a bow on it and log out of the fandom for good.

Sunset Shimmer: I really like the way you highlight who Sunset is in this story it feels very organic. And I appreciate the amount of characterization we get for her in such a short run-time.

This week the latest 45 minute long advertisement for brushable horse toys (and horse toy accessories) was released on Netflix. Thanks to fandom, I was able to watch it too. This episode is in "chapter 3". It looks like this will turn out to be the only episode in "chapter 3".
New story tags are out and not one of them help with the stories I already have. Oh, well.
