Hello, I made a thread for this yesterday but I'm desperate! My friend and I have been in this "who could get 50 followers in 1 week" competition and she has 44 and I have 37, I'll follow you back, but please help me. Also, I failed to mention that this ends on Saturday I think.... Also, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
I have 99 followers...
...
When the heck did that happen?
Thanks, folks. Not sure why you all like my drivel, but I'm grateful!

YES!!!
FINALLY!!!
I'M HERE AT LAST!!!
Tears of joy fall from my face!!!
I'm so proud, so happy, thank you all.
And now, for your patience...
So, a big motivator on FIMFiction is the follower count. It validates ones existence and makes us happy when someone likes you enough to say they think you have something good or interesting to say.
But, sometimes people stop following others. In reality that's perfectly fine. People trim accounts that ween't as interesting as they thought they'd be, or people get annoyed/drift away in different direction. And when this happens, it's something that I wish FIMFiction would notify us about.
Congratulations, Short Stories, you are my 500th follower. <— Everypony, please make sure that you congratulate her on her user page.
And thank you, my followers. Without you, I literally wouldn’t have so many followers.
Seriously, though, thank you for putting up with me. You mean more to me than I’m willing to admit.
I've hit my 100 follower mark, but I'm not even CLOSE to finishing the 100 follower special.
Edit: Well... It was 100, 99's still good though.
Super Edit: And now it's 100 again, crisis everted.
Ya'll are awesome, for the record.
I've been incredibly busy, so much so that I haven't been able to work very fast. I'll be doing an AmAA for this blog (Ask me almost anything), and I'll be answering any questions that aren't already covered on my about page.
Along with the 75-follower special, I'm currently working on a completely new story that has absolutely no ties with any of my previous ones.
In fact, it's a genre that until now, I haven't even touched yet.
Here's a hint: It involves Rainbow Dash, wheelchairs, and dreams.
Current progress of the Special: ~1200 words (It's taking it's time. I have to write out additional details for each character first so I know how to characterize them)
Wishing a happy birthday to Whitewolf Stormrunner. Faithful follower, commenter and friend.
Made a little gift.
The family tree of White Wolf and the Wolfsong Deer from her headcanon.
Hope she likes it and I hope the rest of you like it too.
Will add description soon. Bit bogged down at the moment.
Have a great day!
So, there's been some crap going around about the show ending after season 9 (holy crap, at least 2 more seasons? Awesome!), and the franchise rebooting again.
As someone who's already been through this kinda thing before- several times- with another Hasbro franchise (cough, Transformers, cough), I have thoughts.
What I want to happen:
I have 200 followers now. And I didn't even notice.
Thanks a bunch, everyone.
Also, I'm better and back in school.
So hopefully there will be a update today.
1.) I OFFICIALLY HAVE OVER A THOUSAND FOLLOWERS!!!
(okay, I know this isn't the biggest thing to brag about, but I'm still really proud of myself for reaching such a milestone. A huge thanks to everyone who's been following me all these years. I really appreciate all of your support and patronage.)
Didn't expect that.
Feels nice though. Especially since I came back a little more than a year and a half ago focused on not caring what others thought about my writing and just writing for me first and caring about the reaction second. As long as I write a story and enjoy it, I don't mind the bad reaction since each good critical comment I take and try to make my writing better.
