500 followers + Q&A · 6:57pm Nov 29th, 2015
Congratulations, Short Stories, you are my 500th follower. <— Everypony, please make sure that you congratulate her on her user page.
And thank you, my followers. Without you, I literally wouldn’t have so many followers.
Seriously, though, thank you for putting up with me. You mean more to me than I’m willing to admit.
At this momentous occasion, you may ask me anything. So, ask away in the comments bellow, my follower, and I will do my best to answer your questions.
Congratulations, BD! It's well earned.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you enjoy the people on this site?
3578642 I'd say about 8. As my enjoyment of RL people is about 3, the former number is relatively high.
If you could meet one historical figure, who would it be and what would you want to do with them?
3578654 I'd probably go with Newton or Albert Einstein. I'd talk to either of them about physics.
-Sir Isaac Newton
-Albert Einstein
-Neil DeGrasse Tyson
Fuck one, marry one, kill one. Who do you pick?
3578773
-Sir Isaac Newton - Fuck (without the wig, though. I'm not into wigs, for some reason)
-Albert Einstein - Marry (he was good at debating. Our marriage wouldn't grow stale)
-Neil DeGrasse Tyson - Kill (I love what he does, but I don't particularly like how he does it. Instead of making things simple, he makes them complex)
When you masturbate at night before falling asleep, what is the fetish you most commonly search for?
3578856 I use my imagination. But if I were to search something, I'd probably go with 'tight clothes'. I'm not sure why that's my strongest fetish.
3578942 No, I did not know that.
I'll just edit this blog now and pretended that I knew her gender all along.
If you were required to make a religion for people to follow, what would one of your core tenets be?
Do you celebrate Halloween?
3579269 Thou shall not reproduce if your genetic quality is below average.
3579673 No, I do not celebrate Halloween. In fact, I don't celebrate anything, not even my birthdays.
What is a past regret that you would follow through on if given the chance?
3581412 I trusted my best friend once. I was too naive. He betrayed my trust. I should have built a bigger wall between me and people.
What is your opinion of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic?
3582252 The show is alien enough that you can escape the real world, yet familiar enough that you can immerse yourself in it. The characters are designed so that any human can find one that resonates with his/her personality. The show does many things right, and that’s what makes it addictive.
Personally, I use it as a platform for exploration. Real world has too much baggage to allow exploration of different themes within it objectively. MLP isn’t burdened and allows new horizons to be explored freely.
The fandom is another part of it. Each and every brony is a deviant in the eyes of society. People are less judgemental here and more accepting of others.
Have you ever considered a career in the military? Why or why not?
3582336 Let's face it, the main occupation of the military is the preparation for killing. They do other stuff besides that, but the police and rescuers are just as capable for handling those instances.
I do not adhere to patriotism that is a prerequisite for an army to exist.
I wouldn't serve in an army as a calling of my heart. The paycheck, however, is decent. I can see myself selling my soul for money. So, I guess that's a maybe.
What is your favorite sport/e-sport/competitive event to spectate and/or participate in?
3582700 For as long as I remember, I hated spectating sport. It always felt useless to me. I also can't get myself in a position to cheer for something. The way I see it, cheering for a game now is the same as cheering for a past game that you already know how it will turn out. I don't actually know what the future holds, but I believe the future is already set, just like the past is.
Similarly with competing. I just don't get gratification from defeating a made up enemy.
But If you really want an answer from me, I guess I could spectate ring fights where everything is allowed. That isn't faked like wrestling. People get hurt for real, so they have a big personal investment in the fight as well. It's like reading about the fight scene of a hero.
As for participation, I used to sky and wind surf. Not in competitions though. If I had to compete, I'd maybe go with volleyball. You have to make quick decision calls there and little mistakes are heavily punished.
Who/what is your ideal life partner?
3583694 None.
I used to have a hypothesis that I could make any girl happy. I tested it in practice, and it didn't work as well as I had hoped. I now have a new hypothesis. People can't be made happy. Their expectations just rise until you can no longer keep up with them.
I have actively avoided forming a connection with anyone for the last five years. I will do so for the rest of my life, and in all future time, I will never have a partner again.
But if I'd be forced to have one, I'd go with a relationship without expectations. I'd connect with my partner on the points that bring both of us joy and avoid interactions on all of the other points. I guess it wouldn't really be what you'd call a relationship.
