Ah, Daybreaker. Remember her? Celestia's supposed Nightmare Moon, smokin' hot in more ways than one, blew all of our minds for better or for worse when she cropped up during "A Royal Problem"?
Ah, Daybreaker. Remember her? Celestia's supposed Nightmare Moon, smokin' hot in more ways than one, blew all of our minds for better or for worse when she cropped up during "A Royal Problem"?
Say it with Daybreaker.
Behold:
This is the story I’m trying to win a writing competition with. I hope you enjoy it. If you feel I could improve it in some way, please let me know about your suggestions.
Hey there reader!
Are you enjoying Flame of the Sun so far? If you are, then I have some awesome news for you.
Because I love this story so much, I've had a spike of motivation like never before and wrote five songs back-to-back (and I'm not done with the OST yet!).
Suppose I’ll begin again by another apology. Yeah, me and apologies seem to go hand in hand... err... hoof n’ hoof with one another. Just know that the reason behind this is that a lot of various issues arose that caused me to put a hold on many of the projects I was working on. Real life, girlfriend moving in, dog raising/pseudo-parenting... some projects going up in flames and others down the shitter.
Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening Ponies!
I'm sad to say that I will need to take a small break from writing chapters as I've got a pretty bad sunburn down the back of both my legs. Which is making sitting distinctly unfun and uncomfortable for long periods of time. Don't you worry though, I'm pretty much an expert at sunburns (I get them easily sadly, I'm super freaking pale.) So it should only take a few days to get back to writing with a liberal application of Aloe Vera.
I've probably reread the story over 100 times, but it's just not the same as if an actual reader reads it aloud. Hearing somepony read it is the only time when the writing process isn't lonely. Perhaps this reading can keep you company as well.
I want her to fight Nemesis Prime.
The first chapter of the sequal to 'A new form' is done, yay. Now to continue on the next chapter to 'The five confessions'.
I’d just like to take a second to focus on a minute detail regarding one of the characters to have been brought to life in this wonderful universe:
I hope I’ll win the writing competition with it.
Any feedback is appreciated.
On a whim I submitted my story with the longest title, The Unintended Psychological Consequences of Inter-dimensional Travel, to EQD and it was just featured. Who says nothing good happened in 2020!
What's this? three stories in a week? I am on a roll.
Really I have been parsing through some of my old projects trying to find good ones that just needed a bit of spit and polish.
Alone, Eternal Dawn is now posted, I hope it is enjoyed.
I have some things to say about how glad I am over how well Rainbow's Dash went over, however I need to get on with my day, so a post about that will be made soon.
spoiler warning.....well shit even though she appeared in a dream i never thought id see a nightmare version of celestia....or Daybreaker in this case my first reaction was (uncertain smile) "mommy?"
So as you can tell, I haven't really made anything based on "The Equestria That Never Was" in some time now. I can assure you I have no desire to cancel it, but I feel like I will be making more one-shots around the story when I eventually get back to it.
“MyHobby!” you say. “Where did the story come from, and why were you teasing it for literally four years before you actually started writing it?”
Rhythm and Rhyme was originally a much different story. It always centered around Button Mash and Sweetie Belle, maybe more so than the final product, but it has its roots going back many a year. I recall it being the first near-future Ponyville story I ever devised, and yet, it came out as one of the last.
Day’s Scorn has been updated! :)
