Let us welcome it gladly with courage and cheer!
Let us take to the streets with no doubt in our hearts!
With a jubilant shout -
They will come one and all!
They will come when we call!
You know it's time to make some hardware upgrades when your internet bank won't allow you to login anymore.
Okay, I’ve recently heard that Windows 11, the newest Windows operating system, is coming later this year, and hopefully it’ll reboot my laptop like new, if not, I may have to get a new laptop after all. I know it’s a slim hope, but it’s all I got.
Have a good day and stay brony, my friends
Final specs:
AMD K6-2 475MHz overclocked to 500MHz
384MB RAM
19 GB Quantum Bigfoot HDD
Intel pro/1000 xt server-class gigabit ethernet (yeah, pretty mismatched, but it's the only ethernet card I have available with Windows 2000 drivers)
Yamaha XG sound card
Windows 2000
Web browser: K-Meleon 74, custom compiled for Windows 2000
If windows 10 does not support the games I play now on Windows 7, I swear, i'm moving to Linux.
So I just saw Rear Window.
And it was pretty great.
First off, some context. I'm taking a class this semester about Alfred Hitchcock and this was the first film of his that we saw, so I thought I ought to write about it, and the others when I saw them; so this will become a semi-weekly thing. It also means I'll be branching out from new releases.
Celebrating a year of Pony-MeTM and beyond!
Me:
I've had it with you, Windows! I never want to see your operating system again! I'm leaving you and going to Ubuntu!
Windows:
But what If I offered you a new and improved version of myself?
Me:
I don't know... Maybe I- No! You can't trick me anymore!
But I can run it on a 300MHz Pentium 2!
Specifically, I ran Indev at a laggy 12-15 fps, and 1.5.2 at ~5-6 fps.
I suspect that the CPU is the bottleneck, 'cause Minecraft is much more CPU intensive than it is on the GPU.
Though, I do have a 400-something MHz Pentium 2 in storage that I pulled from a different computer...
Either way, the thing can barely play Youtube videos at 144p, and it actually surprisingly loads Fimfiction pretty quick.
Ok...I had to post this,so,this technically happened at my cousin's school but hey!Who cares?
So,they were having Maths today,and their teacher was all;
'I don't give a s#@t about those kids anyways'
He was writting some Maths exercises on their board,so one student that was on the last row, gave another student a sandwich.
(The reason is still unknown)
That student was sitting near a window, and, when he was given the sandwich,he,now 'bear' with me:
Well that's just great. My PC got a update and boom, all my stories damaged or deleted in Word. Anyone also got similar problems? And anyone, please help?
All I wanted to do was get Windows 10 version 1803 to install. I ended up spending an hour hunting down "afamgt.sys" because Windows Update didn't like the fact that it existed.
Turns out it was on my desktop that entire time in a driverpack I downloaded to transfer to a Windows XP machine.
Do you want to read a brilliant slice of life by none other than AShadowOfCygnus?
Of course you do.
Wherever I look, I can't escape it... The Pony-Me universe...
Fog on the Window's more or less a copy-pasted piece of the full Pony-Me taken out and given a bit more polish before being published on its own. To be honest, the inclusion of MLP into this thing was more or less shoehorned-in.
That's about as accurate a title as I've ever done. Apparently a software glitch caused Win10 to dissolve itself just enough to warrant a total format of the laptop. None of the repair options worked, and the whole C drive got wiped during a failed repair process. Now, I back-up a lot of things, but I don't do it every single day or every time I have something new to back up - I will now! - so you can see where this is going.
So, last week we covered Windows. This week we're covering Linux. And Linux servers don't come with graphical user interfaces, so you have to type everything out. And this is supposedly the greatest operating system in the world. Personally, I'll stick to Windows.
First off let me state that I prefer to avoid politics and when it comes to the political opinions of others I usually don't care unless someone's being a jerk. Well today someone was a REALLY big jerk!
My older brother was driving to work today when a rock was thrown from an overpass and crashed through his front window. Thankfully he wasn't harmed nor did he swirve and hit anyone else while driving. Now you might be asking why I'm making such a big deal about this?
