All I wanted to do was get Windows 10 version 1803 to install. I ended up spending an hour hunting down "afamgt.sys" because Windows Update didn't like the fact that it existed.
Turns out it was on my desktop that entire time in a driverpack I downloaded to transfer to a Windows XP machine.
Geez, was that an annoyance when I realized where the file was. All it took was snooping around in system32 for a while, taking a look in Device Manager for the offending driver file's location, and then finally giving up and opening Process Monitor.
Once again, the file was on my desktop the entire time.
Oh ouch. Windows though... amiright?
