So, I had another birthday, as some of you might still remember. It was a pretty fun day, and the days that followed it were even better. Friends were really nice and I had a great time.

Queen Chrysalis has spent years in hiding. She has been very careful to avoid being caught, but her time spent alone and in constant fear has worn away her sanity.
There we go, I re-wrote chapter twenty, altering a few scenes, and adding some more in. I still think this isn't the best chapter, but I believe I got rid of the most glaring of the mistakes. I will be reworking some chapters in the future because of this and other things that have been brought to light, but that's the good thing about updating one chapter at a time - it gives me a chance to edit once I realize what's gone wrong.

Well, we're about to enter a new decade. Doesn't happen every year, does it? Anyways, I thought I would comment on some things before we enter the New Roaring Twenties.
Hi everybody. Sorry I've been so distant lately.
Twenty-Seven years old today...and I'm told I still look seventeen. Don't ask me what my secret is, I'm just as puzzled, but not complaining.
I've been spending most the year trying to get my webcomic done to a such a degree as to invite a consistent and enthusiastic audience. And when you're working solo on a hand-drawn historical-fiction about an obscure period of Ancient China, it's a slow process. But I'm hoping it'll be worth it.
Princess Celestia is in charge. Whether she is powerful, or competent, or even mildly sane is variable, but that which remains is that what Sun Horse says goes. Regardless of the story, regardless of the universe, Princess Celestia always runs the show, at least at the start. No matter the size of the show.
Let's get this started.

Taking just a short break from trying to finish up this f
king chapter here for a little something I've wanted to talk about for a while: illustrations!
So I remembered just now that with the posting of my latest fanfic, that put me at a total of twenty fanfics posted on this site, so I figured...might as well acknowledge that trivial landmark. 
Also, just as way of reassurance...I had alluded in a previous blog post earlier in the year that I was toying with the idea of making my twentieth fic my last altogether, but that's clearly not happening now, so...ignore that little detail moving forward, y'all. 
it's my birthday. Ish. I'm posting this at almost midnight, when it'll technically not be my birthday anymore, but in my defense -- I'm very busy. So here's a BUNCH of short comics! I've been trying to get better at short punchlines, literally just cause it's a fun challenge for myself, and that way I have something to do whenever I am not working on the next Big Comic, which is coming along nicely.
So, here you go. I hope you like them.

Just a quick announcement that, due to external circumstances such as a crippling writer's block regarding this story, I realized that I needed a fresh start with EL.
there is no way i will be able to write the fic i wanted to 
my writers' block is back, and i can't get the story to flow at all 
so yeah 
my hopes and dreams of writing a stressed-out halloweeen rarity fic are basically circling the drain right now
