How does the game work?
I’ve tried looking online for some answers, but it’s leaving me very confused. As far as I can tell, there is a dice system and you make your own character. I know Ogres and Oubliettes is supposed to be based off of that game, but I’ve never played it myself and I want to be as accurate as possible when I’m writing my scene.
UPDATE: Well I've found a new person to become the new Dungeon Master for our group. Apologies if you were late.
Greetings...
For those of you following my stories I must hang my head in shame. The marginal amount of work I have done is by no means enough for a chapter on either. To make matter worse is this blog which clearly informs you that my creative thoughts are not even going in that direction... shame on me
Making a world/setting...
Here is another short blog giving everyone an update on how the story is doing at current.
Firstly, sorry for no updates since November. I've been caught up trying to get editing done, while simultaneously trying to write something for Shrink Laureate's Season 10 Bingo Contest.
So today while i was off work and with my friends, I was playing Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 edition and all was going great today. We hit the point to where we could prestige and go into prestige classes. I chose to become a dragon rider from one of the off brand books the DM allowed, and by am I having fun with my juvenile Blue Dragon.
So, after getting a bunch of dead leads and one acceptance that flipped into a dead lead, I bit the bullet and got the best, cheapest room I could get for Bronycon, and I actually got a fairly nice one. Although getting it still puts me 200 or so dollars over the budget I wanted. That said, I have a room now. That also said: I am still looking for roommates.
JUST ANOTHER THING I NEED TO POST HERE SO I CAN MAXIMISE FEELS LATER
Arc 1 of Ponest Dungeon has been written out. It has had its editing passes. And starting tomorrow (July 8th) I shall start posting all 17 chapters of story arc 1, one chapter per day. The fic is pretty long, arc 1 by itself is currently sitting at over 80,000 words.
Tldr breakdown is that the story is a cross between MLP and Darkest Dungeon.
Just giving everyone an update on the progress of the second arc of Ponest Dungeon.
I’ve completed seven chapters and over thirty four thousand words so far. The butchery has been far less than advertised, I need to step up my tpk game. The chapter I’m on now and the next one should be full of deaths. I need that so I can not have to remember all the characters Blueblood keeps hiring.
Lately I have been looking for a new campaign to join and a new group to play with and I am willing to try something new even though I greatly prefer the Pathfinder system. By chance I discovered Ponyfinder and began to wonder if I should try it. It seems like the perfect combination for me and a good opportunity to make friends both in the DnD and the Mlp community.
However I would first like to know what you guys think about it. Have you played it? Was it good?
Welcome back...
Today I just plan to talk about ponies. As much as I like Equestria's Changelings and most of the feline races of Everglow I can't focus on them and ignore the ponies; The ponies are the focal point much like the map of Equestria has Equestria in the middle with everyone else around the sides. Though given that it is a map of a country one can be forgiven for providing so little detail on non pony locations. (has the planet even been officially named?)
something i wrote with the help of ai dungeon let me know what you think
I am the prime minister of Canada. I send a diplomat to make the first contact with new Equestria hoping to meet with queen twilight sparkle. If she is interested in meeting, we can discuss our future relationship and how it may be improved."
