Honestly, I think the only thing that disappoints me is that the 'game is real' part didn't last longer. I'd say 8/10.

I liked it. I'm kind of disappointed, because the previews made it out as if most of the episode was going to be about their adventures in the game after Discord brought it to life, but overall it was still a fun watch with some good Discord moments.
If there was one criticism I had to give this episode, it was that by the time the whole "fiction into reality" thing came into play, the episode was 2/3'rds over. When I was seeing spoilers and clips of the episode I was hoping more of the episode was going to be that.
Still happy to see how this episode turned out. Spike and Big Mac interaction was fun and it's like they remembered it back from Season 5 opener and decided to expand upon it.
Shining Armor would've made this episode 100x better though.
Well, I came into this with entirely the wrong expectations. The "game becoming real" aspect wasn't nearly as central to the plot as I'd expected. Still a fun one, though. I'll probably need another watch to properly appreciate it.

Honestly, I'm a little disappointed with this episode. I don't hate this episode or find it bad, but I feel it could've been better. The pacing was the biggest issue with this episode. While not as bad as Cart Before the Ponies or 28 Pranks Later, and it took us a while to get to the whole "Be in the game" gimmick itself. Most of it is just Discord being Discord. While the jokes and gags are good from him, I didn't want spend most of the episode of his jokes being, for a lack of better term, filler and divert focus away from the main story. The preview of showing Rainbow and Pinkie joining the other guys seemed like a waste. I was kind of hoping it would've involved some really big adventure with the others joining in down the line to win the day.
I feel like this show needs to start going on an hour long. If it had a longer run time, it could've really made this episode excellent. It's not a bad episode, but honestly, pacing is what hurts this episode the most.
I think I'll go play the Borderlands 2 DLC, Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep to fill in the disappointment.

I really liked Fluttershy at the beginning. Her temporary relapse into Meanieshy
was hilarious, and it's great to see how... manipulative she can be at times. She's really learning from her friends. 
So war-worn grim dark Big Mac is canon, at least in Mac's imagination. And swords are a unicorn thing, I guess.
How is Discord not running an immensely popular amusement park in Ponyville? He's a one-draconequus holodeck!
