Two days of reviews in a row? When was the last time that happened?
Today’s stories:
A Lovely Apology by PresentPerfect
And Yet, What Riches Still Await by PatchworkPoltergeist
Otherworldly Advice by Bookish Delight
If I Gave You Diamonds and Pearls by Estee
True Bowmance by Ceffyl Dwr
And lots of it! I've added these to the individual chapter notes, but with as much work as RoyaleFanaticGal has put into all of these, I wanted to give her an artist showcase blog as well. I also want to express my thanks.
I was going to post another set of “Read It Now” reviews today, but the stories I was reading weren’t agreeing with me. So I figured I’d finish up this set of recommended story reviews, as I haven’t done one of these in a while.
GRANNY SMITH: "Eh, what were we hugging for here again, Apple Bloom?"
APPLE BLOOM: "Don't ya remember, Granny Smith? I had a crisis of faith and didn't want to bring you to school, so I pretended to be sick, tried to speed up the harvest, controlled you while you were asleep, and faked a message from Uncle Apple Strudel!"
Yep, 'nother one. This is an idea that came up a few years ago that I just never got around to even starting on, and at this point, I'm sure I just never will. To the literary catacombs we go!
FLUTTERSHY: "I'd like to be a tree."
RAINBOW DASH [sighs]: "Fluttershy, I'll let you off this time because that's such a iconic, fan-loved moment, but we need to have a serious talk about how to do these captioned intros."
APPLE BLOOM: "You know, I was being forced to do so much stuff with all them there cutie marks, that I couldn't even see half of them! There's a mallet, a fancy brush, two thin swords hitting each other... Man, am I glad I have just the one cutie mark now!"
TWILIGHT: "Winter Wrap Up, Winter Wrap Up, our song is so iconic that even the show itself referenced it twice in Season 4!"
This week, none of my series will be updating, because I'm going to be entering another oneshot contest! After the success of the last one (Manaphy's Unsung Heroes), and after dragging my behind about it for a few weeks, I've finally decided to enter Amore's DiamondBloom Contest. Expect my oneshot entry, Amour Fragile, to come out in a few days.
Yeah you read the title this month is going to be a bundle. Yes, there wasn't a Commission poll last month because money is a little tight right now, but later in December money will be good again so I have something big planned. You will be voting on a iconic scene from season one or season two and voting ends December 1st. More details at the bottom. As for the rest of this month you will be getting chapter 12 and tidbit 12. Here is October's monthly schedule...

I’ve been remiss in clearing out my “Read It Now” queue, and thought I’d go through and review a bunch of recent stories for your reading pleasure – or displeasure, as the case may be.
Today’s stories:
Diamond Ring by DemonBrightSpirit
Five Virgins and a Sex Fiend by Present Perfect Shivered Timbers
Aftershocks, I Swear by Jonesly
Make a Plan, Take a Chance by Mooncalf
Multi-Factor Authentication by Estee
Greetings, friends of the darkness and followers of the macabre!
The day has finally come..... It is Nightmare Night!
The scariest and darkest day of the year is finally upon us..... And with it the demons, zombies and all the restless souls that couldn't find their way into the afterlife. Have you met one yet? Maybe not, but there is a filly who has.
Today’s set of reviews is courtesy of Scribblefest and (in one case) the Royal Guard. I haven’t written reviews for every story I’ve read for Scribblefest, but I ended up writing reviews for several of them; note that if you are a Scribblefest competitor, my word on your story is not the final word. We’re presently doing the prelim-round judging, wherein three judges read each entry and nominate them for a category, and I am but one of nine judges involved.
Anyway, onto the reviews!
DIAMOND DOG: "My... precious..."
RARITY: "Oh, please, not-darling, that reference is so overdone."
Greetings and salutations, my friends.
This is your top-of-the-line film, TV show, and episode reporter here with another review.
Today, for the 5th installment of this year's "Thanksgiving Treat", and for my 6th analysis on a member of the James Bond franchise, I'm gonna give you guys my take of Sean Connery's 6th outing as the title character: "Diamonds Are Forever".
