Welcome back, readers, to another Monday! Which of course means another Being a Better Writer post. I do want to keep these to Monday if at all possible. Work shifts permitting.
I just saw Forgotten Friendship. And once again, the plot is the same: an Equestrian Maguffin was banished to the EqG realm; ergo EqG has to deal with the problem Equestria wouldn't/couldn't handle. Before you say, "that's just the Equestrian Girls' plot gimmick," let me tell you that another franchise suffered for repeating this same plot over and over and over.
So, in typical fashion, I'm late with this. I've been dealing with some family events and preparation leading up to my birthday on January 15th. Also, I've now fallen down the DnD podcast rabbit hole once again and got really into Ken Ashcorp, particularly the song he made for Nyanners. And I've been catching up with an old friend, getting really into witchy business (starting slow, nothing too wild, but I have a pendulum now, she is a black obsidian and her name is Void). Hello readers! Before we dive into today’s (somewhat delayed) Being a Better Writer post, I have an urgent PSA for all of you residing in the United States.

So, as many folks here may know, I'm certainly a fan-fiction crossover writer.
So I'm back after the long week end and ready to bring you some more art work. Unfortunate I don't have an awful lot of time today so I thought I'd find pictures of somepony just as fast, and I already did Rainbow Dash recently so I had to find the second best.

Even so, while all that's going on here is a new chapter of Child of the Stars for you all! Child of the Stars chapter twenty!
In the northern wastelands of the Crystal Empire, Spike the Dragon and Shining Armor stumble over a crashed, crystalline starship. One that bonds to Spike immediately, and obeys him. But it requires a few different pilots to reach its full potential. It seems resistant to magic and to magic drain, and may be possible of faster than light travel.
Many moons ago, I saw all those Multi-story-spanning alternate universes rampant at the time. I thought to myself, “I could do that.” As the title of this blog series may hint, it never truly congealed into a good story, let alone multiple stories. For today’s idea graveyard, I’d like to share the meandering process with you all. After all, as John Dewey said, “Failure is instructive. The person who really thinks learns quite as much from his failures as from his successes.”
So after a long, thumb-numbing vacation, I'm finally back and I believe it's finally time to announce the title for the upcoming fall release. The good news is... Season 6 Part 2! Who couldn't be excited for that? Anyway, I'll end this off with another teaser image. This may be the last one concerning the Fall Release, but you can still check out my Deviantart and Twitter just in case. (I made a few teasers that didn't make the cut. I'll be posting them there.)
This chapter so far outside of like 1100 words setting up the whole going to the Acres to help Applejack for Cider Season cause in the story its October (that does mean that if this unless goes on long enough Halloween chapter, but I digress) so outside of the whole thing here we have a hardcore look into Applejack- which at this point I thought should be necessary cause well I've written a lot of Twilight and Pinkie stuff and get what they are doing in the story but that boils down to in
Another new year is here. That means lots of new beginnings, looking forward, etc. All those platitudes and cliches we've come to know and possibly tolerate. But just as important as looking to the future, perhaps even more important, is examining the past. Learning from our mistakes and critiquing our own work is crucial if we want to grow as writers (and as people).
So as I mentioned earlier this week there is another story planned for some time next week.
Now, I also have the next four or so stories to come after that planed and the ideas for them ready. Yet I was wondering what people would like to see after that.
I totally forgot about this art that was done after YourAverageShipper read one of my stories a few months back. It's actually a pretty funny interpretation from what I assume it my funniest story so far.
