In part 2 of 4 of Public Nightmares, what does Starlight do when she realizes she can't cope? She tries harder, but she realizes her hardest opponent may just be her own memory. Warning: This chapter and the next are very emotionally intense.

I'm bored and have nothing to do. So I thought I would share some information about my waifu.
If you couldn't tell from my profile picture, all my gifs on my profile, or any other thing, mine is Starlight Glimmer.
I thought I would say what my runner ups are.
What is it with Glimmer and how cliche stock plots follow her wherever she goes? One or two stock plot episodes where characters are flanderised and dumbed down and written OOC so they'll fit into the stock plot's roles, I can handle, but how many have we had so far? Please, take this number and show it to a Glimfan.
Also, score one for the "Glimmer is incurable and needs to be put down, she can not be redeemed or reformed" theory.
Welp. That saves me having to write that "Why I Still Hate Starlight" essay I was thinking of possibly doing. This pretty much sums up all my thoughts on her as a character.
Thanks, Lily! You spared me a whole lot of joint pains in my fingers!
I do not hate all Starlight Glimmer fans. I hate glimfans, the crazy ones. However, people have told me they thought glimfan was just short for "Literally all Starlight Glimmer fans". And I can see why. So I'll put that to bed right now. Glimbots. I will now begin calling the crazy Starlight Glimmer fans Glimbots. Glimbots, Glimbots, Glimbots.
I do not hate all Starlight Glimmer fans.
Story review #1: Goodbye Twilight —by Starlight Fan.
So far this has been an enjoyable story with a fairly well defined plot line and a fairly depressing alternative timeline to the movies end.
Character’s:
I’m going to address the character’s I feel are the most In character and those who are less like themselves.
Starlight Glimmer is perfectly in character and everything she does fits the story and the narrative.
I've posted part 4 of Public Nightmares. Whilst the conflict between some very familiar characters is ramping up, the name of a very interesting as yet to be introduced character we be dropped. It isn't spoilery, so feel free to name drop in the comments. What do you think this portends? (Besides a side story...)

A rap battle you say? I’ll knock you out of the park
What can you hope to throw at me besides your precious cutiemark?

Granit, a long time reader asked me this. And, with a bunch of possible spoilers about my various stories, I'm going to answer why I write the gritty stories that I write. So...
What's with you and gratuitous abuse of ponies?!
In celebration of my 100th blogpost and almost 2 years on FimFiction, I bring you an opportunity to weigh in on the important questions of the day.
Now, Lord knows I'm old and married enough that it's downright unbecoming to go anywhere near this, and I don't want to objectify anyone or imply that that's cool. But seriously, look at these character designs:
Howdy howdy once again! Derply here, returning to chat a bit about ponies after his/her/it's last emotional blog post... yay!
While life is still... a thing for me right now, I'm not here to talk about that today.
Today I'm here to talk about ponies!
SPOILER TALK BEGINS NOW YO, EVEN THOUGH THEY'RE STILL MARKED
If you've been waiting to read The Enforcer and Her Blackmailers, now's the time. Read from beginning to end and please leave comments!
There seems to be a lot of people out there who don't like our newest addition to the mane cast, Starlight Glimmer, and I'm not entirely sure why...
I can hazard a guess that it's because she managed to go tow to toe with our beloved Alicorn Twilight, leading some to believe that she is in some way more powerful than she is, or at least was. Maybe that doesn't sit right with their image of Twilight, I don't know, like I say it's only a guess.
So, I was watching the newest episode today, and at one point Tree Hugger briefly appears. I won't go into detail if you haven't seen the episode yet.
But it made me stop and think. You know who would have an interesting interaction with Tree Hugger? Spoiler alert: It's in the title.
As promised, I'm Your Villain has been completed!
It took almost a year to find the time between Seventh Heaven and I, but we made it happen, and if you like funny, cuddly romance and Celestia dancing to YMCA, you should check it out!

Love you guys, and keep tuned in for future story news!

So, I'm going to assume that it was the harmonic magic inherent to heartsongs/spontaneous-and-not-quite-spontaneous musical outbreaks that took the creepy Orwellian subtext in "Our Town" and turned it into plain old text.
