When I said it'd be out in a week or two, I didn't expect me to then complete it like four days later. Not recommended but I was in a zone.
Don't ask me how I wrote pretty much 8k words in like a week. I don't know how I did it. (Note: some of that was lost in multiple edits, but the story just spilled on out once I got to a part) This had a disgusting amount of rewrites on my end throughout the entire chapter.

I'm still alive. I'm just very, very tired. Having a disease like ME/CFS is not much fun.
Teaching is very difficult with my disabilities, even with a reduced load. I'm pretty sure I'll make it through this semester, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do to manage this in the future. I have Summer off. I'll need time to think. I don't have that time right now.

I feel like I screwed something up because that like/view ratio isn’t the greatest. However, I very much liked the story, and I’m prepared to talk about it.
This story concept actually started a while ago. The story is based on Me and Bobby McGee as performed by Janis Joplin and the Full Tilt Boogie Band, which is of the greatest songs I’ve ever heard. So, in my usual fashion, I decided to write a story about it.
I joined this site almost three years ago. I joined with one express purpose: I wanted to write.
I didn’t just want to write, I wanted to write. I wanted to write a story that everybody would read, to have someone look at a story written by Dashie04 and say, “She was a good writer.” I wanted to write stories that people would cite as primary influences in the way that someone would cite FO:E or Rainbow Factory as influences to their adventure or grimdark stories respectively.

Heck, I'm dating! But, why not? It's for fun. You don't have to say if you really do like me for some odd reason (idk how I got a coltfriend in the first place) and because of the fact I am dating, it won't make much of a difference whether or not someone likes me. I don't believe in multiple romantic relationships and I will not cheat. This is for fun.

You ever go into your kitchen and look into the cupboards to find it full of foods, but you can't eat any of it since they all require cooking? Well, I'm feeling that right now with my writing.
I've been sick for a week and highly nonproductive.
Okay, not that sick. But not well, and motivation's been super low. I have one fic almost finished (the infamous one) but I don't have the emotional energy to complete it at the moment.
However, I do have something very interesting on the horizon...
Chapter 4 is out. Next chapter is being polished and goes up Sunday. Currently wrestling with Chapter 6. Still need to write a new Chapter 7. Busy, busy, busy. It's so nice to have something to stimulate my bored housewife brain.

Yeah. It is, and it's probably going to be the only one I release for a while. I've just had enough of this written, plus I'm absolutely sick of just editing and revising my older stuff. Staring at my older prose so much can get boring just because I don't really like editing. Though I do like reading, sometimes all work and no play is just awful.
