IN WHICH I'VE BEEN SICK
The subtitle says it all. I got sick right after getting home from LA. Have some music.

The good news is that, while I was on the plane to LA, I sketched out two or three chapters longhand in my notebook for EQUESTRIA GIRLS. Bad news is I otherwise haven't done anything due to catching the plague. I've spent most of the time since Wednesday on Nyquil and/or asleep. I haven't even stayed up late to watch Japanese stuff (much).
I suppose the one good thing about being an unemployed bum is that my body can sleep when it needs to. Or when it doesn't need to.
Hopefully I'll be feeling better in the next couple of days and will be able to write more bad stories for you. I've already figured out how I will connect EQUESTRIA GIRLS to the Burritoverse, thus officially making it a perpendicular universe that intersects everything, which was always my plan.
But with the show now officially ended, I wonder how much point there is in going on. I mean, people still write Harry Potter fanfics even though the last book came out well over a decade ago. Certain anime (like Ranma) still get fics from time to time. So I suppose I can keep going on Pony/EQG for now. Especially since Trump is still in office and allowing atrocities.
I just, on a technical level, love FimFic as a site a million times more than Fanfictiondotnet.
One of the books I brought with me on my trip was a manga full of Miku Hatsune, and it always makes me think of the greatest crackship of all time, courtesy of my ex-girlfriend (who no one has seen or spoken to in over a year) -- Miku×Robotnik. A surprisingly loving relationship, that.
I also often have ideas for non-Pony stories I could publish on my own site, but I simply haven't gotten 'round to writing them. I certainly hope I'll get something published before I have to re-up the domain in January.
Oh, and my dad's health has continued to decline over the past six weeks. I'm not sure if it's a permanent downslope or if he can pull himself out of it temporarily. So that's been weighing on me too.
Jeez. I just woke up and just the effort of typing this has taken a lot out of me. Fuck the plague or whatever the hell this is.

I like fimfic a lot more than fanfic too. I have, like, maybe 2-3 consistent readers on my story on fanfic.

Yeah, I'm definitely seeing healthy activity levels around here for at least the moment. I think we're gonna be around for quite some time. It'll inevitably slow down some, but I don't think it'll die off.
If anything, I think there's a lot of potential in re-watches of later seasons and EqG content. I hate to say it but I missed a couple bits of S8 & S9 that I still haven't caught up on. Also, I've really only seen each S7 episode once--maybe a couple of them twice. And I missed pretty much everything EqG after Forgotten Friendship. That's all stuff that I fully intend to catch up on.
So we'll be here for a while!
