The good news is that I've got my computer repaired and all my files are still intact.
The bad news is that I'm going to be putting "Lightning of Rome" on hold.
Why? Because the good news (again) is that I'm currently working on a new little ghost story in the spirit of Halloween/Nightmare Night. What's it about? All I can say it's about an Interview with a Changeling.

The party for the Summer Sun Celebration was just too damn loud. Shepherd was trying to sleep, damnit! He'd had a long day of getting shit together and he just wanted some sleep! Not that he didn't like Pinkie's parties: He loved them! She was one of the kindest ponies and first to accept him, the strange alien, into their community. But he really needed shut eye.
Well fellas and felladies, that solar eclipse is just a few days away. All you Nightmare Moon fans/lovers will get to experience your coveted Eternal Night... for around three minutes. Still, to quote the Mighty No. 9 dev team: it's better than nothing. No doubt my roommate will get a kick out of that, since he's a major Nightmare Moon fan. He's got so many story ideas involving her (and Chrysalis); we might get to see them at some point on this site.

Is anyone at Nightmare Nights Dallas? I will be joining Needling Haystacks MLP Physics panel at 4pm on Saturday 28 October (by Skype link - while I would love to take a trip to Texas, it’s not very practical right now). Come along to hear a group of physicists discuss, and possibly argue, about the sonic rainboom, multiple timelines, and how things like orbital mechanics and genetics might work in Equestria.
Up until now, I'd been thinking I'd continue working on Unleash the Magic - Nightmare Night following this weekend's release, but unfortunately, I find I need a break from writing M-rated stories for a bit.
Ok, this is the only spoiler I'll post a blog about...
1. When the story takes place 2. universe. Answer to #1: The story takes place in 2017, five weeks after my birthday. Answer to #2: The universe is similar to the first FNAF universe BUT it has a LOT of differences, one being the fact that Freddy Fazbear's Pizza existed and Nightmare's was inspired by it. I really wanted to tell you when it takes place for a while now, so I WON'T tell you ANY more spoilers!

Outside Umbra’s Mansion
Watcher and Techorse waited patiently outside the mansion’s doors for both Aura and Celestia to come out. It was frustrating for the charcoal unicorn as he continued to pace back and forth by the entrance. He wasn’t happy, especially since he had to wear a very bright yellow bee costume due to him losing a bet with Tech and Celestia.
I hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween. Enjoy this momentous day wearing costumes, going out for trick-or-treat, decorating scary stuff in your homes, and watching horror films. Also, make sure to check if your candy has razors. You seriously don't want to end up with a painfully bleeding mouth.

I intend to continue Sweet Dreams, and I think I have an idea for a continuation of Eulogy.
