I have no New Years plans, besides the usual watching the ball drop and getting piss drunk, so I'm gonna say normal operations are resuming. However, Poker Night will have to be put on hold for the moment. I lost the notebook I use to keep track of how the game goes, so until I find it I can't do anything with this except flesh out what I'm tentatively calling Daytime Events, which is basically the after-effects of each Night.
This first arc is about to end but not before one last LoK type of fight that I've been hyping up since the very first chapter. I hope you like it and, with that said, off to finish this.

The pain in my horn had really worried me since the fall. Fortunately, the hurt mostly subsided. I decided to listen to Apple Bloom’s suggestion and just give my fragile cone some time to heal.
Oh boy! I’ve never heard of a horn called a cone.
But it does seem like an accurate way to describe a unicorn horn.
Also, I haven't been playing Mega Man fan games (The only place Mega Man continues to live.), Dark Souls (The first one because I'm that far behind.), or Pokemon Uranium (Habits formed as a seven year old are hard to break, but at least I'm sworn off the official stuff.). All those things in parenthesis should be ignored, and are things I would be saying if I did in fact spend the past month and a half playing video games. Two German CD offers for a couple of Sony compilation albums: one for an R&B compilation (this is Volume II of a series; I found that out when trying to look it up on Discogs) and another for German folk music - complete with a host(ess)! These are very interesting European releases from Sony.

Anyway, a tid before I'd posted "Aw Shucks, Sugarcube," I did also release the first chapter to "The Golden Mask."
A story of a queen reverted to nothing, of a filly forced to mature earlier than ever needed. A story of loss, of death. A story of grim satisfaction.
But most importantly, a story of gold.
As has likely become obvious, I've gotten a bit dried up on writing Hero Souls and Tartarus Forged. Tartarus Forged in particular I'm having trouble simply writing. Ideas are abound, but arranging them into a story is giving me fits.
After over a year of writing this, I've finally reached my first major set piece, chapter 11, and I hope you enjoy it. Very proud of this one, as bad as it could be.
Trust me, you got no idea of how important this chapter is.
