On a night of storms, when the winds were whipping and the rain was pounding against his window, Pennington never expected to have anypony come knocking at his door. Never in his wildest dreams would he have imagined it to be a shivering, waterlogged blue-and-silver mare, in need of a roof over her head and a way of earning a few bits.

To Pennington, taking in Trixie as a tenant in his home seemed like nothing, but as the two of them worked with one another more and more, something seemed to grow between the two of them... Something blossomed in their hearts that neither of them had ever felt before.

What do you do when an insane, homicidal maniac with godlike powers descends upon your life with the sole intent of ending it?

What do you do when you were the one responsible for the aforementioned sadist's creation?

It has been almost a year since the events of "Brothers," and Eclipse Tumult has finally adjusted to life in Equestria. Being Discord's weaker brother hasn't done him any favors, but he has finally begun to come out of his shell, even taking on a student of his own and adopting a role with the Princesses who took him in. Life seems to have finally turned around for Eclipse, and it can only get better from here.

At least, that was was they thought until Eris, an ancient evil of his past with Discord, returns to Equestria, bent on destroying the entire civilization for her own amusement, starting at its heart: the Canterlot Royalty.

The fate of Equestria lies in the hooves of the Princesses, Eclipse, and their faithful students as they fight their greatest enemy yet. Can they survive, or will chaos prevail?

*This story is actually a sequel to several my other stories, "Brothers," "Whipstitch," and "Penn and Stone: Dynamic Duo." However, every character will be explained in a manner allowing the reader to read this story without that background. HOWEVER, I strongly recommend reading them beforehand.

Sometimes, I have a brilliant or hilarious idea that I need to write out immediately. Sometimes, a particularly potent holiday comes around that I feel the need to celebrate.

Sometimes, I just get bored.

Thus, the genre of short stories known as "Bonus Chapters" emerged. Not canon to the show or the rest of my stories, written either on a whim, out of inspired comedy, or even as dictated by a vote from my followers.

Now, for the sake of tone, pacing, and the sanity of my readers, I have removed those chapters from their native habitat and placed them all here. This is where they can be safely observed as they were meant to be: from a distance, with little to no context, and purely at the whim of the reader.

Let those who enter beware: canon and fanon mean nothing here. Precedent is unprecedented.

*In all seriousness, the only context you might need here is some knowledge of the OC's identities and backgrounds, which you can get from reading the other assorted stories. Aside from this, don't worry. If you're confused, that is perfectly normal. But these bonus chapters were beginning to seriously detract from my other stories.*

After storming out of Ponyville in a fury, aggravated with those who refuse to understand why he does what he does, Pennington Inkwell decides to blow off steam in one of his favorite haunts: the Everfree forest.

As he travels deeper into the forest than he has dared in past times, Pennington discovers what appears to be an abandoned, run-down carnival. Abandoned, that is, with the exception of a mysterious pony who insists upon calling herself a cat. Crazy? Maybe. But as he is lured deeper and deeper into the mystery, the spirit of the carnival begins to take hold, bidding him to stay a little longer... Will he ever make it home?

Whipstitch, an eccentric seamstress, meets a lonesome draconequus, and insists on learning how to try and better control the chaos in her own life. However, Whipstitch is hiding secrets, and it will be up to her friends to help her through the rough times.

Even if those rough times include periodically turning into a giant monster and trying to eat them all alive.

Though her teacher often sends her on strange errands and doesn't always seem to make sense, Whipstitch takes it in stride the same way that she does the rest of her life.

No matter how bumpy that life may get.

Every town has one: the store that nobody goes into. The one that doesn't sell anything ponies want. In Ponyville, this store is "Inkwell Commissions," run by a reclusive writer-for-hire. Trying to befriend this reclusive pony, Twilight asks for a story about Changelings, thinking that the two of them can bond over the writing process. Little does she know that she is about to get swept up into an adventure straight out of a Daring Do novel! One with the REAL Daring Do: small-time author with a big-time attitude named Pennington Inkwell!

While journeying out into the Royal Labyrinth, Celestia happens upon a rather sorry-looking draconequus by the name of Eclipse Tumult. While he's skittish at first, she eventually earns his trust. With his help, Princess Celestia hears Discord and Eclipse's story from a new perspective: one leading back to times long before she even existed...

Eclipse was Discord's "Brother", in a manner of speaking. The two had grown up together, moved from place to place together, and been shunned and hated together. Eclipse never left his brother, however... Not until he no longer had one.

May become romantic later on, but we'll see. If so, I'll add that tag.

A new threat has come to Equestria: a deranged dragon with the ability to control the weather. Little do they know that they'll be delving into secrets far more dangerous than wandering unprotected through dragon country.

Meanwhile, Twilight Sparkle and Calalily Curl meet a strange pony who seems to know more than he ought to about Pennington's past. On his word, the three set out to save Pennington from an unknown traitor waiting to spring a trap on him. But is Delta Raider to be trusted?
