An ancient manuscript written in Middle English, the only surviving artifact from long lost Earth, may hold the true reason for the emergence of Equestria, the very existence of the Conversion Bureaus, and the deepest secret of Princess Celestia herself.

This story is a continuation and expansion of 'The Conversion Bureau: Letters From Home', but it is not necessary to have read that story to enjoy and follow this one.

Working against their new pony brains, they seek to bring Celestia herself to heel and force justice for the slights they feel they have endured. The Conversion Bureau genre was created on March 23rd, 2011. I chose to celebrate the anniversary of the humble origins of one of the most potent and unique of all MLP:FIM subgenres of fanfiction through the invention of completely original, shockingly new visions of the central concept.

Melanie Zucker rides the maglev to the very last Conversion Bureau. No earthly possessions may be taken to Equestria. along the way, Melanie must find a way to shed the last things that hold her to human life, a task less simple than it first appears.
