Modeling in Equestria was becoming more about Fluttertypes, more normal and down to earth ponies with endearing inexperience. Fleur de Lis, a traditional model, senses an ill wind, and tries to cope with it in her own way.
Celestia was always a "family mare". She always held up families as one of the greatest social institutions in the country. She is famously good with children. All of Equestria looks to her almost like some great parental figure. But for some reason she has always been childless herself.
Perhaps it's time to change that. She is, after all, married to the most wonderful mare she had ever known.
In the back of the white marble archives, behind a rusted door, paint peeling and centipedes crawling under the frame, there's a set of stairs. They buckle like cork, and descend into a lightless library coated in dust, pages, and runes. Here, Twilight Sparkle stumbles upon a perfectly preserved body. Her own body.

I have selected my new name for this job: "Fleur De Lis."
The target's name is Fancy Pants. He's rich, he's well-known, and most importantly, he's single. This is going to be a breeze.
On the last day of school before summer vacation, Cheerilee informs her students that she's going to pursue her doctorate in Fillydelphia, and won't be returning as their teacher in the fall. Her friends and students alike spend her last night in Ponyville bidding farewell and showing their appreciation for her, each in their own unique way.
But one student, in particular, has a hard time coping.

Celestia loves Twilight Sparkle. That is a fact, an indisputable constant of the universe. What that love means, however, is much less certain. The love of a teacher. The love of a friend. The love that Celestia dares not name. Every tick of the clock demands her answer, for while Celestia is timeless, Twilight is not.
Celestia has only a single lifetime to make her decision, but Twilight will wait. She always has, and she always will.
