Trixie Lulamoon is causing trouble in Ponyville once again, in more ways than one. As somepony who would like to be Trixie's friend, and who doesn't want to push the problem onto somepony else, Twilight Sparkle agrees to help.

Trixie makes a sudden realization in the middle of a romantic evening.

Exactly what the title says.

Faced with all options exhausted, and no other way to get rid of her writer's block, Twilight Sparkle settles in one night to do the one thing she promised herself she'd never, ever let happen.

Done as a little exercise (with some rather meagre results, mind you) to help me get through some writers block on another story. Everything here is exactly as it first came out; edits restricted to fixing typos and grammar. Any mistakes Twilight makes, however, are completely genuine and left in for ‘authenticity.’

There are some days Starlight Glimmer knows she made a mistake.

It's been a few days since Trixie and Starlight made things right with Twilight and the three became friends, and it's been eating up Trixie to know just exactly what Twilight thinks of her now. So, as two unicorns break into Canterlot Castle at the behest of her new bestie Trixie, Starlight realizes today is going to be one of those days with plenty of regrets.

Originally written for the Writeoff competition, the short story contest with the prompt "Forbidden Knowlege."

Also, this story contains sorta spoilers for Season 6 episode 6 "No second prances" (but figuring you're already here the damage is already done.)

One evening on the eve of the Grand Galloping Gala, Starlight Glimmer can think of only one pony she wants to be her plus one, her best friend Trixie. Seeing no other alternative but to face her fears and ask Trixie out herself, Starlight pays the show mare a visit. The discussion that ensues however, is far from what Starlight was expecting. She just can't understand how Trixie is only a size Ursa Minor.

As the girls settle into a fun day at the beach, Sunset and Trixie get the opportunity to explore their newfound friendship. They soon discover a common thread that ties them together and, beneath the starry sky, they find the warmth and hope they had each been searching for.

This story takes place shortly after the events of Forgotten Friendship.
