Twilight hasn't been right since discovering the history of two long forgotten races, and her subsequent excursion to the last of their ruins. After the sudden, and violent death of Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Fluttershy, Twilight announces that all is complete to resurrect the Alicorns and Draconquus. Rainbow Dash rushes off to the Castle of Friendship to confront Twilight, and put an end to her quest.

Note: It's been a while since I've actually posted a story. Hope you enjoy. Fair warning, this is a grimdark. The concept came to me while I was at the story today, and I thought, why not? I've got some time.

This story is a sequel to The Rainbow Plague

It's been moons since the initial outbreak of the Rainbow Plague, and Equestria has moved on. Other threats have come and go, Twilight was crowned princess of Equestria, the Rainbow Plague is a thing of the past. But when Rainbow Dash begins to have recurring nightmares, she believes that the plague may not be entirely gone.

A mysterious plague has swept through Equestria, turning its population into magical zombies. With magic having suddenly vanished as well, it is up to a group of survivors, including Twilight, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash, to discover the infection's origin and find a way to put an end to the nightmare.

It has been several years since Principal Celestia lost her wonderful family in a terrible accident that resulted in the disappearance of her only daughter. Several years of guilt and sadness took their toll on several of those closest to her, including her husband, but somehow she was able to overcome it. When a young girl forced her way into her office, begging to be enrolled, she thought it was just a cruel joke of the world, God or any force majeure. Especially when that girl turned out to be a tormented villain from another universe. But could Celestia's mistake be another girl's salvation?

(Because of the death tag, because there are going to be assassination attempts and supposed deaths.)

Set in the same continuity as A Kingdom Divided, about nine years before its events.

Badlands. The deserted land, home of changelings and many more, even worse creatures. Ponies rarely wander there, except of a small group of volunteers, protecting Equestria from incoming changeling swarms. For long, their job was enough to accomplish that. But now, they have to go to the very heart of the infestation.

The Nest.

For many years, citizens of Equestria have lived in peace and happiness, protected by the princesses and the bearers of Elements of Harmony; but soon, everything will change. This time there are no villains or unspeakable dangers; there's just war, hate, and ponies giving and taking lives. From the streets of Detrot to the Royal Palace in Canterlot, each pony will rise up against his fellow pony, and one of them will not rise up to see another day.
