UPDATE: She's now reading the story. Once she's done, I'll fix everything.
Okay, so for a week or two, most of my stories are going to be out of commission. I'm going to be taking them down for a little while, maybe about a week and a half to two weeks. That's it, I swear. Now, before you freak out, there's a simple and... kinda sweet reason for this.
My mom wants to read Broken Bindings.
See, my mom knows I write weird stuff on here, and she knows a lot of it is pretty racy and really inappropriate for most/all audiences. I have no shame, I tell her about my pony stuff sometimes. And she's specifically said she wants to read this weird metastory I keep mentioning in passing that I seem proud of, but is afraid of stumbling on all sorts of horrible things. Especially my horrible things, haha. Even with mature filters on, some of my teen stories are pretty upsetting! I love my mom, and I want to make things all nice and comfy for her as she takes a hesitant step into my weird little Internet world. Those of you who have met her (there are a few of you) can vouch for the fact that she's a really sweet and classy woman. So, I'm gonna do this for her. :)
Normally I'd just download the text, but Broken Bindings is... special. It needs to be viewed on this website, and she's looking forward to playing through it. So, sorry guys. I love ya. But weirdly enough I have a super normie wholesome supportive family, and I like to support them as well. Everything will be back online in a week or two, cross my heart, on my honor.
Until then... enjoy my Rated E stories I guess? All, what, three of them? XD

Everything that I think would make her uncomfortable to see. It may seem silly, but I'm honestly just trying to be nice. I'll leave up a few things that are... not lewd and distressing and racy. Just temporarily, of course.
It's great that you and your family are so supportive of each other. I think it's super nice of you to take the time to adapt your site so that she can read your wonderful stories. I know your mom will enjoy them!

Unfortunately stories don't seem to work like youtube videos. I can make them viewable once they are un-submitted through passwords, but they still have to be un-submitted. From what I could tell, no way to just set a story to private.

My family knows I write MLP stuff but aren't super interested -- my siblings know english so they've read a couple unponified/original stories I've written but that's that. They're supportive, though! Every time I post something my father keeps asking for updates ("Is this popular, son" "Are you on the front page yet" "did they pay you for this one? you should get paid more often") and every time I write they always ask if it's original stuff or "the little horses."
(I always say original, but more often than not, it's the little horses).

Nahhhhh, emailing it to her would also mess with the formatting here and there, and I know that downloading it actually messes with the images too, because it becomes a text file. And the images aren't super important? but they are a little. Also, the colored text is actually done partially WITH images! So it would kinda really mess that up. The story was tailored to this website, and it kinda needs to be viewed on here. :/

Nahhh, if she wants to give me a little grief over it, that's fine, but I don't think she will. As I said, we had a conversation where I said I'd make it so she didn't see "anything... gross." She knows I do gross stuff on here, and I did tell her that I'd be making sure it wasn't lying around for her to stumble across. Believe me, I've got it handled. ;)

Wanted to reread "When They Come" had it in my ReRead bookshelf. Then checked and it wasn't anywhere. Paniced and went looking for it, but I couldn't remember they proper name just something like "Something they come" so I tried looking for it. Then remember that I had downloaded it on my phone to read on a flight once and then thankfully stumbled on your update. All in all bullet dodged.
P.S. In hindsight I guess I could just get it from a fimfiction all stories archive.
