I need songs... like seriously I need songs · 9:11pm Oct 13th, 2016
I wonder if I'm coming down with something because my energy levels are at an all time low. Send me your songs, classical, metal, military, epic or otherwise cause if I'm to write this chapter, I need motivation!!!
Hail to the King, by Avenged Sevenfold.
I usually like to write/read to what is happening in the story. I find it helps. Especially when reading. Sometimes the works of Peter Gundry on Youtube can help with those dark, or magical moments (fantasy) and help generate ideas. Sometimes those action music compilations can help as well. Just search for Action hybrid on Youtube, and you get all sorts of things. I rarely listen to actual songs though as the lyrics can be distracting for me.
They have a mix folder for pretty much all genres, and while I haven't written much in a long time, it does sometimes help to listen to something that fits in with what you are writing.
For action scenes, action hybrid or any other similar theme... For darker or dramatic scenes, I usually alternate between what is commonly referred to as haunted themepark music and moody atmospheric stuff... there are all sorts of things. I myself am addicted to E.S Posthumus and I find that is very creatively inspiring.
or this is my personal favorite and very animesque
So I can't track down all of these songs, but try to find music that fits with what you are writing. It's what I do and think of what fits your story. If you are writing a drama scene, try to find something moody... or if you are writing action, metal or something.
I find, sadly if I can't find a suitable song, I find the ideas don't happen as much as I would like. Music can inspire anything I find, you just have to find that song that fits!
say no more fam
Hell by Disturbed
Actually, anything by Sabaton ought to work ... this video was just convenient.
Edit: Look up Turisas as well ...
How about Getting Stronger by Black Gryph0n and Stamp On The Ground by Italobrothers?
I happen to be a health nut, and in my experience, chronic energy issues are often caused by magnesium deficiency, or by exposure to blue light before sleep. The latter is emitted by screens, and it fools your brain into thinking the sun is still up. It may help to avoid screens for an hour before bed. If that's not an option, there's a program called f.lux, which makes monitors emit orange light at sunset; red and orange lights will not keep you awake.
As per your request...
Want songs? I have songs... Too many songs that there is the chance that at last one you could like it.

I hope that is enough songs... The only problem is going to find 'The song' the one that you are going to like above others, but don't worry, many genres, enough to maybe find one you could like.
seems to fit with your abyssal fic
4254411 Ah, good thing though Horse, is that my glasses filters blue light... at least partially (some kinda lens I got). I should install flux though... and thanks :D
Not quite what you asked for, but these are some nice military montages. They have some good music too.

Little Willy, Bar Room Blitz, Fox On The Run, and Action by The Sweet. Run To The Hills by Iron Maiden. Thunderstruck by AC/DC. Run Runaway by Slade. Breathless and Slick Black Cadillac by Quiet Riot.
Here's a couple high energy songs:
Slyphstorm is always a good choice.
While they may not all be 100% high energy, the depth and epic sound of them could prove to be incredibly inspiring. Iron Maiden has a lot of incredible music that has a lot of depth and that epic feel that I would personally find amazing for fantasy-genre writing.
