It's so simple! Why did I not think of it before? Someone else may have very well thought of it before me, but here I am shouting from the rooftops to everyone of my idea. Oh, it's so very brilliant if I say so myself. So analog and base, but beautiful in its possible design. I simply cannot hold my excitement. As Anise Tatlin would say "I'm BURSTING with fonons". What are fonons? Play Tales of The Abyss to know that; but that's not the point! No-no. The point is of a piece of work all of us can do together. And I mean ALL of us.
Not just my followers, but your followers, and their followers, and EVERYONE on the site! Granted we most likely won't break even five people, but where's the fun in NOT shooting at the stars? But, enough of my rambles on how excited I am; let us ramble on WHAT it is.
You see, it's so very simple... We ALL write a story together. I am sure you're familiar with the act of improvisation; or improv. If not, here's a brief explanation of it: is a form of live theatre in which the plot, characters and dialogue, scene and story are made up in the moment. That's the gist of it. Basically, it's thinking on your feet and telling a story as it comes. In a way, just like real life. But now, answer me this: What happens when dozens of writers have to baton-pass one story from one writer to the other? None of them telling them what their plans were. The only information they have is whatever the writers before them wrote.
That's what I want to do... I want to see how long of a story we as a site (or just as my followers) we can make. We might even make front page news if we can pull it off.

I'm fairly sure I'm too late, but you were right, this has been done before. That fic, each chapter was written by a different author, and they could only look at the previous chapter. They made it to the Box, and I hope you guys will too.
