Technology in Equestria is ever-changing, thanks to ponies flexing their smarts and creativity. One of the realms in which it's developed the most, however, is music. Pipp, being the pop pony princess of Zephyr Heights, knows this. A pinch of HarmonyTune here, a small bit of album photo editing there. It's everywhere, and it's nigh inescapable.

But one day, she discovers a mare of blue with a robotic voice that's seemingly perfect for music and a cutie mark that signifies exactly where she's aiming for. She even has her own software, made with artificial intelligence technology. Faced with such monumental competition, Pipp is losing her grip on fame, and if she has to resort to playing this mare's game to regain it? So be it.

Most unicorns' magic tends to match with the colors of their eyes or a color found in their cutie mark. This is considered quite a normal development for the pony as a species.

But what about those who develop magic of a different color? The ones who are ostracized and put out from society because their magic clashes with genetics or their destiny in life?

That's what Chromatic Spectrum, a unicorn living in a secluded part of Equestria, hopes to fix. With her talent, she can fix unicorns' magic and make them loved by all once more.

However...that's not to say it doesn't come at a price.

Running a sanctuary full of sick and injured animals, while Fluttershy's grand dream, is a lot of work for just one little pony -- one that begins to slowly but surely take its toll on her as she suffers from exhaustion and sleep deprivation. When Rainbow Dash provides a solution for her, though, it might just take a huge load off of her shoulders.

Sunset is known as one of the more powerful mages of Equestria, one who was well on a path to obtaining higher power before her hubris led to her downfall.

In the human world...well, just because she isn't an alicorn doesn't mean she can't wield some incredible power in other areas.
