After Hearth's Warming, everyone takes their trees to the curb and takes down all the lights and decorations.

This includes Rarity and Sweetie Belle, of course. It's basic routine.

But seeing the lights gives Sweetie an idea...one that her sister might not be so keen on.

A Jinglemas 2023 story in spirit, written for anyone who reads it, since I didn't work up the courage nor clear my schedule enough to participate in proper this year. Hopefully someone out there who enjoys sweet Rarity-Sweetie sister fluff will appreciate this.

Faced with the ones who had ruthlessly taken so much, she fights back.

Two alicorns, the protecters of the sun and the moon, are destined to aid one pony-human hybrid in a fight against a hostile and confused species.

They, of course, do not know this.

But Haruko knows.

She knows all, because the visions tell her so.

And she must take action before it's too late.

Sunny Starscout and Izzy Moonbow didn't think anypony was around in the old, dilapidated and rusted Canterlot when they managed to become alicorns.

Little did they know, however, that there was somepony around.

And little do they know, she's got big plans for them.

Her, and two other ponies who aren't too happy with the prospect of new rulers to continue what Celestia and Luna had done.

What is a "pony-human", exactly? On the surface, it is something rather obvious to any eye whether trained or untrained -- it's a hybrid mix of a pony and a human being, what else is there to know?

But...but...deep under the surface, this act of speciation has so much more to offer and so much more to give. Science, whether the real-world kind or the Odd Squad kind, has only barely scratched the surface of the "pony-human", let alone scratched the surface of the being who birthed such a species to begin with.

Disclaimer: Science and biology are two of my weakest subjects, so don't take this as anything factual. Anything goes in the Odd Squad universe, after all, and the same (mostly) goes for the MLP universe. Let me have fun with this.

Life isn't going so well for Rainbow Dash. First she gets into a bad crash that disables both of her wings, then she's told she's grounded and becomes forced to stay with Twilight, which in turn leaves her out of Wonderbolt practices. This, of course, doesn't leave her in the best of moods.

But when Twilight shows her the power of the lawnmower and the goodness it can bring, she comes to appreciate the little things about being on the ground.

In Odd Squad, unicorn tears hold magical properties. They are able to cure any odd disease known to mankind, and as such, they were often sought out and obtained in bulk by Odd Squad Doctors and Nurses.

Long after the cure has been forgotten, Dr. O, head Doctor of Odd Squad Precinct 13579, decides to bring it back into the medical mainstream. Even if it means resorting to a prohibited method.
