Twilight, age twelve, has been studying under Princess Celestia for five years. She has learned a lot of things, not just about magic. She spends a lot of time reading books. The subjects range from the history of magic to the history of Equestria. Every topic has a book, sometimes two, and she’s able to get enough details about all of them.

All of them except one, that is.

When it comes to the Griffins, they cease to be mentioned somewhere along the line. From what Twilight is able to piece together, they disappear from history shortly after the formation of Equestria. That doesn’t make much sense to her, so she goes to ask about it from her mentor. If anypony knows about what happened, it would be Celestia.

Everypony knows that Pinkie Pie is the happiest pony, that all she wants to do is make everypony around her happy. Nopony knows what it is that makes her happy beyond that. Nopony thinks about the downside of placing your own happiness in the hooves of others, of making their happiness yours.

Is it worth is to be reformed?

Is friendship worth it?

When I look out to the crowd, when I listen in, I hear and see things that make me wonder about that. I shouldn't care what they think, how they think, what they say, and yet I do. There's something to this whole friendship thing that has changed me, and part of me has to wonder if it's worth it in the end.

On both sides of the mirror, something is bugging Rarity. Neither of them know what it is, but they're determined to not let it ruin their good days. At Canterlot High, the idea is that Rarity just needs a nap. Valentine's Day is quickly approaching, and she has worked a lot. It won't take too long, she knows it.

In Equestria, Rarity is taking some time off at the Crystal Empire. While she is going to use this as a vacation, her uninvited guest is trying to get the courage to tell her how he feels. Spike knows no better time than now, a week before a romantic holiday, to let his love know how he feels.

Today is the day.

Rarity had made the perfect tuxedo to go with the perfect date. She has the perfect everything set up. All she's going to do is take a nap, then she's going to go talk to her friends about her plans. In her mind, there is nothing that could possibly make her change her mind.

Then the fire happens.

But even something like a fire won't change what Rarity knows she has to do. Spike has waited so long for her to say those words, she'll say them even if she has to say them from the hospital.

This story is a sequel to Rainbow Dash's Spike

Love is a tricky subject. It isn't something that just affects one pony, or two, but everypony around them, It is something that affects everypony differently, too.

Spike and Rainbow are going to have to learn this the hard way.

How will their friends react to it the same. Will they all be happy for the new couple? Willthey try to break them apart?

One day, Spike finally gets the courage together to ask Rarity out. When he finally goes to ask her, he sees something in the window that quickly shoots down that entire idea. After it happens, and he's trying to move on from the disappointment.

Rainbow Dash is there to help him out.

Spike knows that his good friend will always be there for him.

Hello, my name is Quick Strike, and my job is to protect Princess Celestia. When I say that, a lot of ponies laugh. They all wonder one question, as I assume you're doing right now.

Why does Celestia need to be protected?

She is the mighty ruler of the land, able to take care of anything. That doesn't mean that she should be put in the situation to have to. It is my duty to make sure that she doesn't have to hurt anyone.

And maybe, if this letter is any indication, sometimes my duty is to protect her from her greatest fears...

After Ponyville, nothing good comes of Trixie's career. The life of a showmare is hardly easy, and at the smallest mistake they can be thrown aside. This is what has happened to her, the mistake being one that could have cost plenty of ponies their lives. Now that she has been cast aside as well, as casualty of her own problems, it is time for her to find a way to change the thing that she has referred to as a minor setback.

She can do it, right?
