In the six years following the ETS Pandemic, the town of Riverview went from having a waning population comprised entirely of ageing humans to a bustling city housing human and pony alike. It became a hub of magical research and even the home of a cultural renaissance. Then, one day, it burned.
For a time, ponies and people alike were left scrambling to rebuild their lives. Many lives were lost, and families wanted answers. The pony that many said to be the most influential in the Shimmerist cult had even renounced her faith and created a schism as a result.
There was a lot of hurt to be healed. In honour of those who died and those displaced, one pony idol streamer would drop her last PV. It would be her career's last hurrah, for a nonprofit cause, and she would't have it any other way.

This short story is set in the Pandemic Universe brought to life by ASGeek2012. An Ode to Riverview is set specifically after the events of Halira's Pandemic: Monsters We Make, starring characters from Pandemic: of Twins and Tails. Although it is highly advisable to read Monsters We Make first, this one-off does not specifically require much knowledge from Twins and Tails.

Set in the Pandemic Universe

Although the Southern and Central United States were some of the areas hardest hit by 2023's ETS pandemic, its reach extended beyond international borders. Carried on metal wings, people returning home from trips spread the virus to many whom they crossed. From there, wild spread was inevitable.

In Atlantic Canada, many such cases could be traced to arrivals or connecting flights out of Halifax Stanfield International Airport. The alleged primary case for the region was traveller and gambler, Jacen Cadlow, who returned home after an extended stay in Denver to recover from the flu. What made his case so bizarre wasn't just the unusual progression of his transformation, but also the conditions of his birth—so rare that no statistic existed to accurately quantify it.

This story is set in the Pandemic universe brought to life by ASGeek2012. There will be no specific crossover, so prior knowledge isn't strictly necessary, but it would certainly be helpful. It is worth noting that the original Pandemic was penned prior to the Coronavirus pandemic that locked down much of the world from 2020 to late 2022. As such, this story is definitely considered an AU to Earth, a world where Covid-19 never occurred.

Over one thousand years ago I was sent to Equestria by a treacherous salesman's cursed trinket. It changed who I was... what I was. Spike's life has always been one of boyish fantasy, lusting after the mare of his dreams and goofing off when not helping Twilight Sparkle. For as long as he can remember, he's always been Twilight's little brother first and assistant second. As an androgynous baby dragon, it's always been assumed that he was male based on what other ponies, namely Twilight, have said. Why would anybody have any reason to say differently?

Following traumatic and confusing circumstances, Spike is left with an enormous question on his hands. How could he have laid eggs? Only one pony has the answer, and it will shatter the basis of his entire life. Ultimately, life is only what you make of it, and it's up to Spike to determine where to go from there.

Broadhoof Memorial Psychiatric Hospital is a short and long-term care facility for some of Equestria's most vulnerable ponies. For them, every day is a struggle with their illnesses, be it intense bouts of depression or violent outbursts. Whatever the patient's condition, there is one thing they all hold in common. Everypony gets lonely sometimes.

For the panic-prone Lily Valley, her stay at Broadhoof marks the first Hearth's Warming without her sisters at her side. With all of the side effects of her medication, being moved to a higher security wing, and the lack of support from her family, it'll take a Hearth's Warming miracle to prevent this from being the worst Hearth's Warming ever.

Canceled sequel to Displaced.

It has been three years since the rogue Draconequus Morrigan threatened the stability of Equestria, and a further three since the defeat of Nightmare Moon. Since then, life has settled for even Equestria's newest resident, Goldenrod. However, following a bizarre celestial event, Twilight Sparkle has received not just a quest from Princess Celestia, but one that has the fate of the Mother of all Alicorns in the balance. If they fail, it's not just the Mother of the Alicorns that will die; all Alicorns and the peace they bring to the world will die out with her.

The fate of Equestria rests in the hooves of Twilight Sparkle and her ragtag team Celestia's chosen and participants in the 'Morrigan Affair'. Can they restore the artifacts binding the Prime Elements to Mother Gaea before it is too late, or is Equestria doomed to a dark fate beyond all imagination? Only a strength of spirit and a faith in each other will allow them to prevail.

The birth of a new life is a miracle of nature. Every mare and her family have their own harrowing tales of a birth in their family... Almost everypony gets their word in regarding their feelings regarding the events following such an event; everypony except for the foal. When Apple Bloom gives birth to a lively baby filly, she's delighted to have a foal to call her own. Alongside a proud father and her siblings, she couldn't be more happy. This isn't the pony-tale of a happy mother, though. Instead this is a blind, innocent newfoal's tale to tell.

The wheels of fate turn in mysterious ways. When a unicorn colt has an accident on the edge of the Everfree, nopony knows who he is. Assuming his brain was jostled by the accident, they ignore his absurdist notions of not being from this world, and not being a pony at all. However, when he is involved a terrible incident that threatens the lives of his only friends in the world—Ponyville's three most rambunctious fillies—their friends and family begin to pay more credence to his claims.

For Warren Ashland, the clock is ticking as a chain of events that was set into motion the moment he woke in Equestria comes to a vicious head. The time will come when he must decide whether he wishes to stand alone as a human in the Equestrian world, or give it all up for his newfound friends. His actions will shape the lives of those around him.
