I have often wondered how Trixie would fare as an Alicorn. Keeping this as canon as possible, you have to consider that Twilight has grown wings since the events of "Magic Duel". So, it will be Alicorn vs. Alicorn. A battle like that should be similar to Twilight's recent fight with Tirek. In other words, something Dragonball Z'ish. Also, consider the Alicorn state for the moment. They are deities in Equestria. Each of them represent a force of nature. Celestia is the Sun Goddess, Luna is the Moon Goddess, and Twilight Sparkle is the Goddess of Friendship. What can Trixie be the Goddess/Princess of? My first guess would be Arrogance, or Bravado. Maybe she could grow to be a Dark Queen. She could be one of the Elements of Discord, guided by her new partner. Then again, being Arrogance, she may decide against the unifying power of friendship and seek a power beyond even an Alicorn that is normally harnessed by the unification of The Mane 6(or 7 if you consider what happened at the end of Rainbow Rocks.) Who needs friends? Maybe she could become so powerful that she overpowers discord himself, making him her servant. I always thought Trixie had more than a bit of Dominatrix in her, especially after seeing her in Magic Duel.
