Overall it was a good chapter, but you make "Will's" rambling seem like he's a senile old man. He can't be that old. Fang is what? 17-19? So, at best, his father is in his late 40's early 50's. Otherwise, good chapter. Keep it up!

Fang is in his twenties, but Will isn't extremely old, he's around 60. He could just have memory problems from a head injury.

So... what age scale are you going by that 60 isn't extremely old? By humans? Because without medical technology human life expectancy ranged between 40 and 50 years. Pony? We're not sure pony life span and it's typically assumed to be human, possibly a little longer because of magic and all that stuff, so I'd bump that up to 50-60 years. Or are you going by modern Amercian standards, which would be 90-100 years of age, with a neat average probably coming closer to 88 or so. If that's so then he's already two-third's there, and sure you normally wouldn't think that memory problems would develop that 'early', but it's more common than you think.

I myself would say 60 is just old, not extremely old like say 80. But the point I was trying to make was that his memory problems don't have to come from his age.
