Off to a good start, I sense Rariburn in the making.
I like the idea.
But you might want to talk to someone and bounce ideas around with them. I can understand this is your first fanfic, but it felt very rushed, and your characters were really out of character.

But back to seriousness maybe I'm missing something - something really big, maybe - because I don't think this deserves the dislikes it got. What little we've got it actually quite interesting.
Also heteroshipping. This'll be interesting to see. (Note distinct lack of compatible stallions)
However I'm pretty sure most readers could actually stab at a guess for some, based on where they've gone this one particular day.
As 1910708 said, it looks like Rariburn's in store if Rarity's gone to Appleoosa.
Then there's Applejack who's on the farm. perhaps she's with Caramel?
Fluttershy and Fancy Pants if she's at a social gathering? Meh maybe not. I don't know that one was just a guess.
Either way, it shall be interesting to see how much you align to my expectations, or whether you completely surprise me.

Thank you! I will most definitely work on the characterization. I also agree with you about the fact that this was a little rushed. I think I made the mistake of not waiting at least a day to go back and edit it. For my next chapters, I'm going to try to aim for at 3000+ words. And I'm sorry I called Pinkie Pie obnoxious! I really do think that she's best pony!
As for the available stallions in the series, I honestly think I'm going to have to create a couple of OCs

1911677 There's also Soarin, Thunderlane, or Snowflake for Rainbow Dash. And there's also redemption for Blueblood if you really think he deserves it. And there's Pokey Pierce, Flithy Rich, and obviously Big Macintosh. There's a lot more stallions then you might think.

Soarin' is a wonderbolt, Rainbow Dash is just another squealing fan.
Filthy Rich is a father.
Blueblood redemption would be difficult to pull off.

If you haven't already, just plan out what you're going to do for each chapter. My plans usually consist of about 10 words per chapter, but I'd say I think I underdo it - just a little
Then grab an editor (Despite the fact that your sentence structure and grammar is just plain awesome) and discuss the ideas with him/her. Because then you can evolve them, link then, and make them generally awesome.

Onto the subject of OCs: These better be befitting OCs! I don't want to see some OC pulling off a sonic rainboom to impress Dash, or some crazy Alicorn swooping in to steal Twilight's heart! I'm surprised Twilight has her eye on anypony anyway! She's always reading books. tut tut it's always those librarians! Twilight, you Lewd Minx
Ooh! What would be spicy is if one of them didn't have their eye on anypony, and so Pinkie Pie tries forcing stallions upon them! Hilarity would most certainly ensue!
