The Cutie Mark Crusaders thought weather to be engineered by pegasi, wind and rain only occur on schedule. That there might be more to it than this age old believe they only find out when they get caught in an unscheduled storm themselves. By chance they get saved by a young pegasus, but he is hurt in the process.
While he recovers from his wounds in Ponyville, danger approaches as ancient spirits awake.
It is up to the Mane Six and the Crusaders to save the day. Can a certain gray maned pegasus help? Or will his secrets lead to death and destruction?

The story is really good so far, but you desperately need a proofreader. There aren't many major mistakes, but the little ones are starting to annoy me. If you need a proofreader, I'd be glad to do it for you.

I tried to read the first chapter, but just couldn't get myself to do it. I guess I just wasn't in the right mood, because a few days later, I gave it a second go and had to force myself to stop reading every now and then.

I actually rewrote the synopsis, altered the cover and stamped out a few errors in the first chapter just yesterday, to make it more appealing for new readers.
As for the sequel: It will propably be more of a sequel in spirit, because I want it to stand on its own so no new reader has to wonder where my OCs come from.

This story is very good and I know you said it was innocent but if you you ship them, which I am 99% sure you will not because of the huge freaking age difference, I will be extremely disappointed. I'm positive you won't though, but with some stories I have read you can never be too sure...
