Arc, the Warrior of Light and the closest to being a saint.

But what if he wasn't? What if he was a touch more ambitious and forward?

Let's take a look, shall we?

This story is written with the permission of the original author. Knowledge of his story up to the chapter, 'REMASTERED - Chapter 1 - Into the Unknown' is advised. https://www.fimfiction.net/story/437915/the-equestrian-odyssey-a-tale-of-two-worlds

Arc, the Warrior of Light and the closest to being a saint.

And that was the problem with the original story.

closest to being a saint

He became obnoxious. I warned the original Author to give the OC some sort of flaws, what he chose to do was give his character a out of character hissy fit, then went right back to writing a absolutely perfect character that I, rightly compared to Mister Rodgers.

Original writer couldn't take good advice. Will you ask the six questions of good writing or will this be a rehash of the story of uncle perfect?

If knowledge of his story is heavily advised, then this wont be worth reading because you wont change anything. No one wants to read Mister Rodgers in Equestria. Not for more than ten chapters anyway. It gets old very very quick. (and I warned him, over and over and over)

So I'm assuming you hadn't read the first chapter?

Yours?, no not yet. His, yeah, Ive read about 50ish chapters. I intend to give you a fair shot, but the fact that you say knowledge of the original is advised, is not a good sign.

To be honest I have two other stories that I promised the Authors I would read first, but I will give yours an honest shot and its on my list. I'm not a jerk, I will give you an honest review.

Yeah, I meant mine. And not to worry. You'll see the other differences quickly.

I stopped reading Equestrian Odyssey as the characterization of these types of HIEs are my biggest problem with a story like the Lost Element as the MC in that story is a misanthropic Gary Stu type character.

I never read The Equestrian Odyssey - A Tale of Two Worlds because I hate it when the author just refuses to end their story. I don’t care what their reason is or what those stupid fans say, I hate those kind of stories with a burning passion. Will this story be as long as that one is?

What are the six questions of good writing?

Honestly I like that you made Arc an actually flawed individual which a lot of hie writers in this genre seem to be anathema to largely

Nope! Safe to say mine will be significantly shorter, as some events can't happen because of the changes that has already occurred.

That's literally why I'm writing this thing, because he's too perfect.

What is it with authors like the Lost Element or Equestrian Odyssey with their misanthropic Gary Stu characters and I talked to the author of the lost element before and he said James isn’t but the goddess called humanity tainted in that story you can’t tell me it isn’t misanthropic. I believe the only real way for humanity to squander its potential is if there was a global nuclear war. Compared to other races in fictional media humanity is downright friendly in comparison.

I like this story hopefully you don’t go the earth bashing route that stories like the Lost Element do, provided it doesn’t happen I’ll continue reading

Wha- Why would I want to? That makes no sense. At all.

I guess I’m just worried because a lot of hie protags like that end up being misanthropic Gary Stu self inserts that don’t take into account yes humanity has flaws but you can’t downplay the good we have also done plus we are living in the most peaceful period in human history compared to 1000 years ago. I’ve consumed a lot of sci fi and fantasy media and those species are far worse than humanity.
