Claws and Stripes

A groundbreaking discovery shook things up: a portal to another world was found. The beings there were a lot like humans, yet incredibly different. Still, both worlds chose to coexist, and the fragile seeds of peace and friendship began to sprout.

Two years have flown by since the passageways between Earth and Equestria were discovered. The two realms now exist in a delicate balance. However, this equilibrium is on the verge of disruption with the sudden appearance of a mysterious girl.

Her arrival will unveil the hidden facets of both worlds. Allies and adversaries will emerge, testing the foundations of peace and camaraderie. In the midst of this upheaval, the strange girl must navigate and adapt to a world completely unfamiliar to her.

A monumental discovery was made, a portal leading to a different world was found. The beings there were a lot like humans, but so much different. Despite that the two worlds decided to coexist, peace and would be friendship soon began to take roots.
Two years have passed since the passageways between Earth and Equestria have been discovered, and the two worlds began to exist in a stable, yet fragile union. However this delicate balance is about to be interrupted, by appearance of a strange girl.

Okay, is this before or after Miri ( The anthro Tiger "experiment" ) escaped her nasty captors, got teleported to Equestria, and was falsely attacked by the Mane Six's own stupid racism/xenophobic/prejudice views!?

With her arrival, the hidden sides of both worlds will begin to show. Foes and heroes alike will rise and face each other. The peace and friendships will be put to a test. Amidst of it all, the strange girl will have to learn how to adapt to a world she is unaccustomed to.

How will Miri make "world-changes" in both worlds?

What? Like exposing the morally ethical experimentation from her nasty "creators"/captors?

Heck, she might not be the only anthro furry/animal being brutally experimented on? Are there other different animals suffering the same fate!?

IF the Mane Six, Zecora, Spike, Alicorn Sisters, possibly the U.N. and most definitely PETA learns about Mira's rather dark "origins".

They will rightfully be pissed and sympathize with her.

Especially the animal-lover; Fluttershy.

Nice to see someone so invested in the story. Now I don't want to spoil too much, since some of the questions you asked will be answered, possibly quite soon. But I'll still try to answer what I can without spoiling.

For your first question, the portals have existed for a very long time. However only recently (maybe a few years), have both worlds started to take notice of each other and made meaningful contacts. How recent, I am yet unsure, but definitely around the same time since Miri 'escaped'.

In your second question, you ask how Miri will make changes. I can't reveal anything concrete, but I can say that I plan on making this story to be very long, so a lot things will happen. And to quickly answer your third question, yes, among many other things.

Now for your fourth question, this one will be fully answered in the near future. I can't say for certain, but hopefully before chapter 10. The only thing I'll reveal about this is (look at the spoiler at your own discretion) its not animals.

I do hope you're enjoying my writing so far, and I hope I can continue to deliver a compelling and enthralling story.

As the two were exchanging pleasantries, a few of the soldiers were preparing the sedative, while a couple of them were looking at the creature with scornful eyes.
"Serves ya right, ya damn monster." one said as he lifted his rifle. He pressed the trigger fired a couple of shots into the creature. The sound of rifle fire alerted everyone, and the leader walked over to the soldier.
"What in the goddamn hell do you think you're doing." he shouted at the soldier grabbing and taking his rifle out of his hands.
"Ah, come on sarge. It's not like those even do anything to it." he said with a roll of his eyes. "Besides give it an itch. Also, it deserves much more after everyone it killed."
The anger in sergeants’ eyes continued to flame, as he grabbed the soldier's uniform, bringing him closer to his face. "Do. Not. Do. That. Again. Do I make myself clear."
The man silently nodded, and he was released. His rifle however was taken away. He looked disgruntled at that, but quickly changed his attention back to the creature. He picked up a large stick and began hitting the creature with it. Another soldier approached him.
"Do you really want to do that?" he asked concerned.
The man stopped his beating and looked at the soldier with disdain. "What? You think I give a rat's ass what the sarge says. I have a lot of pent-up anger against this thing." he said and swung the stick again. "One year and three months. That's how long this thing played with us." Another smack.
"Dozens of good men. Gone."
Smack.
"Only cause we were to capture not kill."
Smack.
"Not to say that we'd be able to end it, but it certainly would make the job easier."
Smack.
"So, I think I am entitled to at least this much." He gave another swing and looked at the other guy. "Besides, it can't do shit right now. So, I can go all out and let it experience what we had to endure."
He lifted his hand up high once again, preparing for one more strike. However, he had failed to notice that he had moved much closer to the trapped creature, or that its tail was now right next to his leg. With rage filled growl the thing wrapped its appendage around his ankle. The guy felt something coil around his leg.
"Ah shi-" was all he could say, as he felt the tail sweep him off his feet and then swing him into one of the rods. The force of the soldier's body was enough to break one of the rods, that was feeding the electric charge to the trap. With the electricity gone the creature stood back up. Its escape attempt didn't go unnoticed though, as it was peppered with bullets.
