After being banished from Equestria for a crime she didn't commit, Twilight Sparkle is found by a group of Terran mercenaries who call themselves Talon Squadron. Left with no other options, Twilight joins the crew of the ship as they travel across the Koprulu sector aboard their Behemoth-class Battlecruiser known as the Eternal Phoenix.
Nine months after joining the crew of the Phoenix, the ship's captain, Commander Marcus Bradley, decides to give his second-in-command some time off on a planet of her choosing. After some time thinking it over, Ghost Lieutenant Twilight Andromeda Sparkle decides to go...home.
As she comes to terms with her past, Twilight recounts her adventures aboard the Eternal Phoenix to her friends and loved ones. How will her friends react to somebody who has been missing for nine whole months and has been in the fight for her life in more ways than one?
More importantly, will Twilight return to her life in Equestria, or will she decide to stay with her new family aboard the Phoenix?
Okay, seriously. What the actual fk is up with this obsession of ponies not believing Twilight is innocent when she's framed of a crime?
Some friends and family they are. The Elements of Harmony should NEVER have worked for the Mane 6 if they just abandon Twilight like that.
Okay. Rant's over now. We need more Starcraft love around here, so you do get bonus points for that.
GOOD JOB
Ok I see a little error in the flashback when Marcus was introducing himself to Twilight
how did he already know her name?
Other than that a good start to this story lets see what kind of adventures Twilight was on after joining Talon Squadron

most cases it is a plot device. some stories do it a lot better. but hey a trope is a trope.

A very unthought-out plot device every time. Twilight is far from perfect obviously. But to do something to get banished from Equestria is way beyond anything she would normally do.
Hell. Even when Celestia was at her angriest at Twilight, she never banished her.
redo this story you aren't going to leave this to rot if you need to then remake it but don't let it rot
10751875 I'm more annoyed that this great crime is not explained. Possibly for the reason you gave. The author couldn't think of anything, so they ignored it. As a result, it has no emotional weight, and neither does the 'reunion'.
Likewise, there's never a reason given for why she's immediately offered a place on the alien ship. If she'd shown some useful power, like her telekinesis or possibly a teleport, it would have made more sense.
How can there be a sequel if this story was canceled?

Its more of a rework.
