They did get together before the battle happened in the beginning. Luna will remain on the moon for the duration of the story. That part will match Canon. But we will learn more about her and her relationship to Bathalar as the story goes on.
This seems incredibly interesting, I wonder if twilight had to give her loyalty oaths too!
I am really addicted to this story despite the small number of chapters! I checked every day since the prologue was released (and now the first chapter) and devoured this new chapter. The characters, OC or already existing, all seem interesting, and I look forward to seeing the evolution of relationships and the story itself. Thank you for writing this fic which deserves more views than it has!

Well, that's just tragic.
Since Luna/Nightmare Moon is trapped there for a thousand years. And I doubt the general will survive that long. Unless, you do a deus ex machina to keep him alive?
Welp, I predict that Sundrop and Bathalar will be put in a situation where the former will rescind her previous “no killing” order and the latter will say “I told you so” (or something similar to it).
